#041.5 - Zubat are extremely prolific, and colonies can be found in almost any abandoned building or cave that blocks out sunlight. Naturally nocturnal, these bat Pokemon are sensitive to sunlight, and have evolved without eyes - though with an impressive ultrasonic wave - to masterfully maneuver in the dark. As Zubat age into Vambat, their latent optical genes are reactivated, and they begin to develop new eyes, which further aid in their attempts to find prey. Their four sharp fangs are able to puncture any hide, from which the such as much blood as it can hold. Victims of Vambat attacks are rarely aware that they are being drained of blood, until they begin feeling weak from the blood loss.

#042.5 - Golbat live in immense colonies, where they create bonds through flying and hunting that bolster them through evolution. Captive Golbat, however, have a very different evolutionary spark. Without a colony to support them, captured Golbat look to their trainer to fill that natural void. By forming a trusting and strong friendship, Golbat are able to evolve into Crobat.
