Had a little dip and got back in the water. Today the temperature was 8.6. Which is almost 5.5° less than the lake was on Wednesday. And although I didn’t stay in quite as long due to my nerves I did get back in. I did have a little swim and my body is happily tingling. I think I’m happier staying where I know for now. The weekend has involved a lot of water based adventures. 1. Kayaking our new favourite weekend activity. 2. My first meet up with our group of friends. Just us girls. It’s been too long and the rain was not going to stop us!! 3. Swimming the kids have had some amazing fun swimming this weekend. 4. A river swim for me last night! It’s been too long since I’ve dipped into to the fresh water of the river. It’s such a great booster to my mood. I’m looking forward to the next one now. Hopefully I can (socially distant) meet up with a friend for an early morning swim one day this week. 5. Lots of tea as usual. Well you’ve got to have a cuppa right? On to a new week of adventures. A new bit of routine. Yup. The big kids aré back at school (only for a couple of days and I have some work to do. I’ll talk more about them being back at school later. But for now.
