These Smoky BBQ Pulled Pork Burgers are a tasty treat. They have toasted hamburger buns with soft pulled pork smothered in tangy BBQ sauce. They are then topped with creamy coleslaw, smoked gouda cheese, and caramelized onions.
Ingredients: 1 lb pulled pork. 1 cup BBQ sauce. 4 hamburger buns. 1 cup coleslaw. 4 slices smoked gouda cheese. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. 1 tbsp olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set a pan on medium heat and add the olive oil. It will take about 8 to 10 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced onions until the onions turn caramelized. Add pepper and salt. Put pulled pork and BBQ sauce in a different saucepan and heat them up until they are warm. You can grill or toast the hamburger buns for a short time. Place a slice of smoked gouda cheese, caramelized onions, and a dollop of coleslaw on the bottom bun of each burger. Then add the pulled pork. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away.
