In this recipe for a Pinetop Pimento Cheeseburger, you can enjoy the tasty flavors of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese and homemade pimento cheese spread. It has the right amount of creamy, tangy, and salty flavors to satisfy your burger cravings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 burger buns. 1 cup Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded. 1/2 cup pimento cheese spread. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup diced pickled jalapeos. 1/4 cup sliced red onions. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 slices of cooked bacon optional.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to both sides. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like them more done. Add a lot of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese to the top of each patty in the last few minutes of cooking and let it melt. For the burger buns, split them in half and toast them on the grill until they are just barely browned. Add the pimento cheese spread and mayonnaise to a small bowl and mix them together until they are well mixed. Spread the pimento cheese mix on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together. If you want, you can add a tomato slice, then a lettuce leaf, and finally a cooked bacon slice on top of the pimento cheese mixture. Put a cheesy burger patty on top of the tomato slice. Then, add red onions and pickled jalapeos that have been diced. Put the toasted top half of the bun on top of the burger to finish. Have fun with your Pinetop Pimento Cheeseburgers while they're still hot!
