Here we have Christian’s Seat Leon FR which has been suffering from power loss and poor mpg. We found several error codes for injector faults, turbo underboost, dpf blockage and egr fault! After further investigation we found the egr system to be severely clogged (in picture) so we carried out our Terraclean egr clean to remove this soot accumulation (in picture) we then cleared all codes and carried out a road test, the vehicle was performing better but still had an error code for injectors... after checking the live data we found that the injectors where working correctly but the pressure readings for the dpf where everywhere! After replacing the dpf pressure sensor all errors extinguished and the vehicle drove as it should! We now carried out a passive regen to remove the soot accumulation from within the dpf and the vehicle was now finished👍 restored performance, regained mpg and one happy customer. We had Steve's Vauxhall insignia in today for DPF clean & diagnostics, after being quoted ££££'s by another garage to replace the dpf! He'd been having issues with the car going into limp mode and the dpf light illuminating... after some diagnostics we found that the dpf pressure sensor was giving an inaccurate reading and due to this it had failed to regen several times causing the dpf to block! We carried out our terraclean dpf clean to reduce the volume of soot in the dpf, replaced the faulty sensor and then carried out a regen. The car is now out of limp mode, no error codes and will perform its own regens successfully whilst driving. We had Steve's Nissan Qashqai in today for a DPF clean due to several faults and being quoted over £1100+vat plus labour for a replacement DPF! It had been used mainly for short journeys and had failed several times to regen itself and resulted in the dpf becoming blocked, this in turn caused the inlet manifold to crack and the pressure sensor to fail. A local garage changed the manifold and sensor but then the vehicle wouldn't start at all! They established that the dpf was blocked and would only run with the pressure pipe removed (relieving the back pressure) after being referred to us to see if we could help we carried out a manual pressure reading of the dpf which showed the pressure reading being off the scale! #volkswagen #passat in today for a #DPF clean and diagnostics check, the vehicle was in limp mode and had several warning lights on the dash. We started by checking the pressure in the DPF and found that the #backpressure was excessively high indicating a blocked filter... after some further checks on sensors and pipes it was confirmed that an in depth clean was required. We had this really well looked after #Ford #transit in for a #terraclean service, the owner had noticed that every now and again it would cut out at lights but would have a lumpy idle? We hooked it upto our #patented machine and proceeded with the clean... we run it for 20 minutes to remove the initial layers of #carbon turn the engine off and leave our fluid to soak for 20 minutes which eats into and dissolves baked on carbon and then we run it for a further 20 minutes👍 this cycle ensures that the maximum amount of carbon, gums & varnishes are removed from within the #fuel system. As you can see from the video the amount of smoke coming from the exhaust is just an indication of how much #gunk is being removed... the second video is nearing the end of the 2nd #cycle and as you can see the #smoke has nearly cleared👍 After it was hooked back up to its own fuel and taken for a test drive it was noted that the vehicle wasn't hesitant anymore and now idled smoothly... time will tell on wether it's cured the cutting out though.
