Ink and Smoke: Two of the most versatile substances in nature. Both have similar characteristics that relate to how we as people see them and use their qualities to our benefit. Smoke and ink can be seen as a warning, a signal, or some form of danger. Smoke itself can provide cover due to its density, however it's also so light in the sense of weight that, if it didn't have an odor or tint, it would be unnoticeable. Ink is also naturally occurring. A squid uses it to escape predator as well as a warning signal. Its density gives it a richness in its appearance, which has the ability to be heavy and bold or light and fragile to the eye. These two substances serve as the inspiration of our next collection.
