02.15.2025 — First time I’m actually practicing the speaking part of my midterm, quite literally 2 days before it is due. Have not even reviewed the grammar for the test, either. 🤦‍♀️ Pray for me, please.

29th October, 2017:

Good morning. Its been a buys day at uni today. Midterms start form today and so everyone’s been busy printing off exam papers and locking them up under multiple lock and key. To say its been hectic is an understatement. 

I’ve to proctor the midterm exam for one of my Foundation classes in an hour. This will be my first time proctoring an exam in college,    so I’m all kinds of nervous. Here’s hoping everything goes smoothly and I don’t end up with a riot in my hands.

I just finished my last semester at community college and I’ve never studied so hard in my entire life. This semester I took 4 English courses and I now know I made the right choice with my major.

I was also super proud of the way I annotated my textbook for all of the stories/poems I had to read. My handwriting looks like chicken scratch but it was so hard peeling off each sticky note to return my rented textbooks.

4/12/2017 GEOL 1151 midterm turned out to be far less in depth than I anticipated. Bowen's reaction series ended up not being a problem because I understood what it described and what traits can be inferred based on it. Doodled the succulents at the bottom of the page in the time I had left over after completing the midterm until the exam period was over. Also, I ordered my next bullet journal (an A5 dotted Leuchtturm1917 in the color Lemon Yellow) and another A5 dotted Leuchtturm1917 in white that will be my visual journal or diary of sorts. Hopefully at least the yellow notebook will arrive quickly, because I'm quickly running out of pages in my beloved A5 dotted Berry colored Leuchtturm1917 notebook. (Tomorrow's spread will be on page 211 of 249.) Can't believe I've been using my current bullet journal since last October! Bullet journaling has helped me get my life together by making planning interesting enough that even when my ADHD brain doesn't have meds it's still engaged enough to get things done.

2/27/2017 Survived my Geology 1151 midterm exam despite running 20 minutes late due to an accident along one of the bus routes I take to that 9 am class. Pretty sure I'll get an A on it, there were only 2 questions I had to really think about when answering. (Not bad after missing 3 lectures due to a bad strain of norovirus circulating at work!)
