I kind of want to get a second Bruno Bucciarati Q Posket, so I can unbox one. I wasn’t planning on collecting figures of his, because they kind of tend to be super expensive second market, and then faces are not always as pretty (IMHO), as the manga/anime. However, this guy is so cute! I waited too long to decide to get him, so I missed the “A” version of the figure. DX

I got a few Western fashion dolls, that arrived a few days ago. I was hoping my November Japan toy haul would get here before, but no. I'm really happy with these, nonetheless. I got a second Luna, to customize and the tiny version as well. That comes sealed in a pack of three... I don't know if I'll be unboxing and rebodying that one anymore, although I am still tempted. I am a weirdo! DX

I love Malibu, I am so glad I decided to get her as well. Now I definitely want to get the other two girls in the first release, maybe the others as well... n__n;;

'Collect moments not things'... that's a quote I saw written on a board in a bar the other day. I'd assume it means take photographs and not souvenirs. That quote bugged me. Especially if a lot of us 'travellers' travel around Indonesia... if we only collect 'moments', we're in danger of being really selfish. Yeah you can have moments with the people you meet. Locals and other travellers. But let's not kid ourselves... by moments we mean photos. And if we only bring photos back... what impact do we have on other people? Indonesia has so many things to offer. Take this red rice, single origin coffees, and local cloths... those are things we can actually collect. And we will be helping the local #economy. Having been very lucky to go to several places in Indonesia, I know that buying local products from the source also strengthen the identities of the people who make them. Tourism is not the end goal here (a lot of people forget that). Tourism is only a promotional campaign for a region. Think of the region not the tours. Case in point: making a resort on a public beach should not be the goal. But empowering the people of Labuan Bajo should be. Looking at you #setyanovanto And remember... if you can earn more than $1000 per month in Indonesia... don't haggle (savagely). Something that is handmade for at least a week is not supposed to be priced $2. Come on, give a fair trade.
