When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the losers 👌
This has probably been suggested before, but what if mortals can actually create separate gods through belief and worship? It would explain why Alduin is real and he ent Akatosh. At some point the dragon got split into multiple entities. A bunch of times actually. Same thing with Lorkhan and Shor, and that’s why they’re supposed to be the same god, but they’re so different. Thoughts?
@colonelkillabee @house-redoran @boethiah since we we were discussing lore. :p
Greetings. I am a huge fan of your work, and I have been debating Imperial milk-drinkers on and off about the righteousness of Ulfric's cause. Just recently a question came up concerning his involvement with the Thalmor and how they used him as an 'asset'. I don't know if this is covered in the Stormcloak Bible or not, but I was wondering if you could make a new entry concerning this very topic. Was Ulfric brainwashed? Did he agree to work with the Thalmor under duress? Thank you for your time.
Hello and thank you for the kind words!
I do believe I covered this but will happily go over it again. My first point was that Ulfric Stormcloak was tortured and forced to give info about the imperial city that might have allowed the Thalmor to take the city… had it not already been taken by the time he did.
Torture works on everyone with enough time. He lasted long enough that the information he gave didn’t matter.
The second point is, they used his guilt to make him keep contact with them, however all contact was lost after he went to Skyrim to free Markarth, then later duel Torygg.
They call him an “asset” because they believe he may speak with them again or be “persuaded”, but my third point shows that this isn’t the case because the Stormcloaks in the game are the only faction that kills Thalmor when they win.
Ondolemars execution scene is cut but he does die if the Stormcloaks take markarth, and the Thalmor are kicked out of Skyrim if the stormcloaks win the war.
So all in all the whole asset thing is bogus. And if Ulfric is an asset for being tortured and speaking with them a little afterwards…. What would Tullius’ dossier say?
And that’s my final point.
Soooo, friend of mine named Bru and I translated the inscription on these coins and I think they made a typo XD First side: Top- Mehrunes Dagon Bottom- Destruction Change Ambition Second side: Top- Ambitions Knowledge Freedom Bottom- Wisdom Energ (here’s the typo XD ) Adventure
So, this was funny as fuck at the end imo. Someone got frustrated when confronted with the truth.
