*Ring Ring* “This is Snake. Colonel, do you read me?” *Incoming Response* “Loud and clear, Snake.” (Solid Snake & Colonel Roy Campbell, beginning their lil’ “Codec moment”.) - Just like having an oh-so delicious banana-split mixed in with an ice cream sundae, or a glass of refreshing red wine, hearing EVERYONE of Snake & the Colonel’s #CodecMoments is always so satisfying! 😁👊🏻 So it’s only natural I’d be quite pleased to learn of the striking and very uncanny similarities between #SolidSnake & #ColonelRoyCampbell and the two men who were the prime inspirations behind their creations, #SnakePlisken & #ColonelSamTrautman the two of who were brought to life in their own respective #ActionFilm franchises, “Escape from New York/L.A.” (1981-1996) and “Rambo 1-4” (1982-2008), by actors Kurt Russell & Richard Crenna, respectively. Regarding the recently released #RamboLastBlood (if one would dare even call that unnecessary piece of garbage a “Rambo” film.), NO NO NO... oh, and F**K NO!!! There’s no way in f**king hell that film counts as being a #Rambo related film! The TRUE and DEFINITIVE end in the tale of John Rambo was beautifully told in Sylvester Stallone’s #Rambo2008 ...so there! 😉🤣 With that BS aside, it’s absolutely enthralling for yours truly to learn of the inspirations behind both #SolidSnake & #ColonelRoyCampbell 🤩 ...Time and time again I’ve said this, and I’ll continue to say it till I drop dead and rot in the ground: “I’m Solid Snake’s b**ch!” ...why? Well, is it obvious? The black bandana donning and cigarette smoking #KingOfBadAssery Solid Snake, later to be known as #OldSnake is so f**king COOL...
