i actually did not listen to it as immediately as i wanted to (again, busy bee these days) but i’d been listening to the singles as they came out
on the whole the basslines in all the songs are good and i definitely like those, i think there’s a very....hmmm. retro in a way i can’t fully express vibe to the album, and overall i like it but i admit it hasn’t immediately pulled me the way glitterbug did

Cheetah Tongue: is good, a nice bop, can jam to for sure Lemon To A Knife Fight: also very solid, has been in my head a fair amount lately, first single and was something that i enjoyed a lot Turn: is good but man it’s weird hearing murph say he listens to drake like idk it just. does not compute and that’s the one line that kinda jolts me in this song Black Flamingo: is okay, not super into yet tbh. that being said. “give me a leg to stand on” flamingo hehe i get it lol White Eyes: has also been stuck in my head even though it’s not a fave lol Lethal Combination: god i honestly can never remember what the name of this song so i forget how it goes. i looked it up and the “baby let’s go and get drunk tonight” part is fun but the rest has not grabbed me yet Out Of My Head: awwwwwwww yiss now this is the sad depressing shit im into bless I Only Wear Black: meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. probs least fave on the album Ice Cream: I. FUCKING. LOVE. THIS. SONG. HOLY. SHIT. FAVE FAVE FAVE. THAT BASS. I GOTTA LIKE. FLIP MY HAIR TO IT IT’S JUST SO GREAT AAAAAAA. ALSO NGL THIS IS A GOOD SONG FOR LIKE. A REALLY CUTE SUNDRESS TYPE GIRL AND HER LEATHER-WEARING SPUNKY GF IM SORRY THAT’S ALL I PICTURE WITH THIS SONG BUT IT’S GREAT AND AAAAAAAAAAAA Dip You In Honey: okay so. actually the retro vibe i get with some of these songs, this one in particular, is like. a beatles-type sound, which i like. but i also just feel so. meeeeh on this one for now. it’s alright. I Don’t Know Why I Like You But I Do: kinda slow so im on the fence
i think i need to listen through the album itself another time or two tbh cause i’ve really only listened to like. three of these songs all the way through more than twice lol
