#spooniespotlight Hi! I'm a 21-year old Belgian girl and I have neuromyelitjs optica. Not the usual one, the Antibody MOG+ one, yes I have the rarest form of an extremely rare disease, yay me! But hey, that doesn't stop me from living, enjoying and inspiring others to do the same. I've had 7 attacks in 1,5 year, been in coma twice and I have been paralysed 4 times but I always recovered. I think one of the things i'm most proud of is my strenght, I have weak moments, take lots of meds, have to self cath plus I have to watch out my spoons don't run out, but than again I'm seaking the positivity in all of this! I've learned to enjoy little things and I've met many many people. Like Niamh my biggest dream is a NMO cure, and yes I know that is not something that will come soon but life without hope is nothing :) . So do never stop hoping and start enjoying the little things.
