♦ Special Abilities
Spear Mastery: With over twenty years of Dragoon training and real combat, Leroy is an exceptional example of the lancing arts. The spear is now an extension of his arm, rather than just a weapon. Harnessing such abilities such as the classic jump, as well as the terrible full thrust, he is more than capable of handling a variety of threats.
Legendary Endurance: Leroy has abnormally high pain tolerance, and can keep pushing himself when others fall from exhaustion. It helps him finish the task at hand, regardless of cost to himself.
Veteran’s Perception: Years of battle have given Leroy a keen eye on the battlefield, making him a very difficult target to ambush or surprise.
Dravanian Blood: Due to recent circumstances, Leroy’s harnessing of dragon energies has increased, giving him abilities both familiar and new to him. However, due to the unnerving nature of these powers, he prefers all other methods of defending himself. A last resort, if anything.
♦ Weaknesses
Age: Despite the years of experience and refinement, age is beginning to slow Leroy down by a margin. It shows in a variety of ways: joint pain, physical weakness, and mental tiredness. Though keenly aware of these problems, Leroy chooses to ignore them or just keep it under wraps as much as possible.
Impulsiveness: Leroy tends to ‘jump the gun’ on many of his decisions during tense situations. This can manifest itself in several ways, including: splitting the party, being far too eager to volunteer for dangerous tasks, or performing actions that likely should have taken more thought before execution.
Weaponless: If the lance/spear is lost in battle, so is most of Leroy’s strength. Though he can defend himself with fists, and has the endurance to dodge, most of Leroy’s offensive skill is lost along with the weapon. Though he has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, he will prefer the spear above all other methods of attack.
Luckless: Despite having the endurance and the strength to push through most trials, Leroy has a terrible luck streak. When it rains, it pours, as they say. If Leroy is coming to something in particular, best prepare for worst case scenario.

♦ Range (bold 2, italicize 1)
Close - Mid - Long
♦ Special Abilities
Dagger Mastery: She has years of experiences training with knives and daggers as combat tools, both thrown and held in close combat. She is proficient to the point of training pupils in the style.
Courtesan Charm: Rommie describes this like it may be a superpower of some kind. It’s her ability to use charisma to the end of lowering a person’s guard, relaxing them and making them comfortable around her. Sometimes this is a sexual technique, other times it is a con artistry technique.
Stealth: Decades of learning to pass without trace have given Rommie an extremely refined ability to be unnoticed if she chooses not to be. This sometimes comes with disguise, but often is simply knowing how to vanish in crowds and stick to shadows.
Social Connectedness: She knows people in various walks of life with a wide collection of skills, and many of whom either oew her favors or she knows pressure points in their lives that allow her to call them to her aide.
♦ Weaknesses
Emotional Instability: She is plagued by mental illness that manifests in a large number of detrimental ways. A deep fear of physical imperfection, for instance, leaves her deeply afraid of scars from combat situations.
Aetheric Impotence: Rommie has a significantly harder time than an average person learning to channel aether or use magic. She’s only marginally more adept than Garleans.
Recklessness: When someone is in trouble, Rommie throws any caution to the wind. She doesn’t plan or think through her involvement, but takes to the action her emotions drive her to.

Ahlis’s Combat Prowess
This Battle Stat sheet urges you to balance your character’s prowess in battle with weaknesses that could be their downfall. Options are limited to better help you home in on their specialties. Challenge yourself to follow the limits! Designed for the FFXIV universe.
♦ Best Traits (bold 3, italicize 2)

Neophyte - Novice - Trained - Experienced - Veteran
♦ Proficiencies (bold up to 5, italicize at least 4)

Magical : Healing - Summoning - Fire - Water - Wind - Earth - Ice - Lightning - Dark - Light - Fate Manipulation - Song - Divine Favor - Aether Shield - Aether Manipulation - Other
♦ Range (bold 2, italicize 1)
Close - Mid - Long
♦ Special Abilities
Arcanima Aptitude: Despite having lost much of her earlier youth as a refugee and remaining a transient until her mid teens Ahlis has made up her time since by tapping into her latent skills as an arcanist. Although not quite having reached total mastery of manipulating arcanima geometries she is fast approaching all that the Arcanist’s Guild can offer.
Highlander Hardiness: Ahlis’s lineage belongs to that of the Highlander Hyur, which are known for their overall larger and stouter physiques. She can endure harsher climates and situations where stamina and tolerance for the extreme is required.
Battle Pragmatism: Ahlis is not the type to eagerly confront her enemies but should she need to she will do so in the most straightforward and logical sense possible, especially if a physical altercation would be dangerous or downright suicidal.
Research Savvy: If it requires sleuthing and digging for the smallest slivers of information, Ahlis is no stranger to putting in the proverbal elbow grease in finding the information she needs. Her efforts into forming important connections and relationships within the Arcanist’s Guild as well as serving as a informant to the Brass Blades during her years in Ul’dah have honed her skills her ears and eyes open to multiple avenues of pertinent knowledge.
♦ Weaknesses
Youth: Ahlis lacks the instinct and readiness of a veteran, especially in the ways of battle. Although her skills are continuously climbing on how to master the flow of aether on the battlefield she can be cornered or outwitted by a smarter foe.
Aether-less: If the flow or aether is inhibited in some way, or her magic is entirely drained, Ahlis is more or less a sitting duck. Her hand-to-hand skills are meager at best and would more than likely attempt to flee should she lack access to her magic abilities.
Clumsiness: Although Ahlis does not lack in mental agility, her physical dexterity is not so refined. If she cannot whittle down her enemies by might of spell and strategy alone then the battle for her is usually lost.
Paralysis: Ahlis has been known to have moments when the heat and throws of battle can cause her to freeze or to second guess her movements and decisions on the battlefield; a considerable handicap to Ahlis’s battle prowess overall that she still struggles to overcome.
