EVIL, the newest horror-comedy masterpiece this side of Milwaukee. This is a TTRPG effort, but it’s well-tutorialized and properly creative - no Dungeons and Dragons; we’re playing Action Movie World, a fantastic & multilayered roleplay game about us, the players, playing actors, who are playing characters - actor characters who are trying their hardest (bleeding and squealing) to earn a foot-in-the-door for more PROPER HOLLYWOOD FILMMAKING. Let the record state, irregardless of this - this is as much a love letter to goretastic splatterflick (Evil Dead 2 in particular, as it’s the world’s greatest film about men being hurt in silly ways) as it is a reality-informed life story about being a starving actor because it has always been the ComboFans ideal to be honest, kind, and hilarious. In THIS CASE? BLOODIED, WRATHFUL, AND HILARIOUS. Watch our intrepid cast of freakazoid heroes as they endure the ultimate challenge - graveyard nightshift work at HAMHOUSE, a local purveyor of bacon milkshakes and hamtreats. Additionally, they are beset by an endless horde of the undead by way of a terrible necromancer who has misplaced a briefcase containing an ALMIGHTY DARK ARTIFACT in their store and is very embarrassed about the whole ordeal but would rather they all just get torn apart by the hordes of the dead so he can move on with his life. The great question: can love spawn on this battlefield? There’s only one way to find out....in this story featuring, deep in the core - romance, love of shlocky art, togetherness and BIG SHOTGUN BOOM BOOMS. We’re playing Batman: Vengeance: a tremendously underappreciated and misunderstood style-fest of glee and punching.
