Hi All ( ^ _^)/ I am still really sick, but promise is a promise, this week's #ComicReview is on #DarthVaderDarkLordOfTheSith that is currently running on #MarvelComics The Arthur, Charles Soule had this to say: 'The book begins one second after the end of Revenge of the Sith. Darth Vader is in the armored suit that we see throughout the rest of his life, most of his life,' Soule explained. 'He is just awakening to that moment and that realization. So he has shouted No! in the way we see in the film, and then it picks up immediately after that point. So we see him adjusting to that. We see him learning to be more machine than man. We see him going through some really, really cool early moments of his early mythology and history' The way he is portrait makes sense, every chapter you read, there is a moment that you think "ah the human me would do this, I want him to do this" but he does complete opposite, you may get pissed at first, sure. But you seen realise, that's staying in character, "that's what Vader would do, damn I love this comic" So far I am super hooked with the comics, they take on the side of the Dark, Sith, and they show you why they think what they think, and it helps.. they've shown the origin of their lightsaber, explained why it's red and they even started to plant information to link the comics with the Series and Movies. Osaka was even mentioned (I was so hyped) All round and round, it's definitely a great run and I recommend it. I give it a 9.4 out of 10. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ Yesterday was #ComicReview Day but I was too busy (had deadline) so didn't had time to post, so I am using my break day to post #comiccriticgram It's on #TwistedDark , Story connections become even clearer in what has been described as Neil Gibson's darkest release to date -- the third volume of the Twisted Dark series. This time we're shown an innovative use for bamboo and are introduced to a sinister little girl who just wants a bit of peace and quiet... The series is at first may seem random, but they all connect into something far bigger, and they all end up in the same prison but was it on coincidence? I think not. This is one Dark run, at some bits of story you are expecting a twist of happy ending and you get a twist but not a happy ending one, a far darker ending one, it's great, well I must admit, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is by far one of my favourite runs, (if you know me or follow me for long enough you would know that) and the story aside, the Art lives up to the story, in each ark it has a different art and there is a reason for that, it's amazing. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #ComicReview Day And this time it's on #Supersons from #DcComics In 2017, DC Comics launched a Super Sons monthly comic book series featuring new versions of the characters, (the original super sons was released in Worlds finest in 1973) who are the biological sons of Superman and Lois Lane, and Batman and Talia al Ghul. The Super Sons series features the duo as Superboy and Robin (Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne). The run is really fun and the villains are actually original ish, and not just 'super villains' which is strong point about the run, it has all the bits we want, it shows how they are like brothers and best friends at the same time, almost like their fathers but slightly different cause they are kids. BUT the way they ended it, it just bad, silly, out of tune and pushed in a wrong direction, it's just done badly. I wish it was ended in a way that led up to something else, e.g. teen titans. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's another #ComicReview Wary and we are on #Marvel and I decided I have a go at #SpidermanDeadpool comic The series has ups and downs, some parts it's super awesome, some other parts is just pannel filler. Some parts are action pack and awesome, other parts are not necessary convos. Some parts awesome plot but other parts, not so much. The fan service wasn't even done right imo but I am too picky aw. Comic description in 3 words: fun, not-enough-4thwall-breaking, and crazy. It doesn't follow any story per say so if you wanna have fun and get their concept and seeing DP trying to go legit, definitely read this set. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #ComicReview Day And it's another one of #Valiant titles called #ArcherAndArmstrong In short it's an assassin and a drunk immortal team up to mess shit up accidentally and fix it as they fight everything along the way. I really like the Persian Mythology that's been used in this comic, it's rare to see that in any media specially seeing it used as a good guys story. So it really touched my heart in that way, and being about Martial Arts, it made the actions that much more fun. I really liked how they described the martial arts techniques like it's a word from Dictionary Plot is insane, the art is Amazing, the character development is on point. Definitely worth the read if you are into crazy. (I REALLY LIKE ARCHER WITH LONGER HAIR) Comic in 3 words be: crazy, drunk and naive. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ #ComicReview Day, and it's #DCComics turn, and it's time to have a look at the #Outlaws First I want to point out my favourite Robin is Tim Drake and Jason is my 2nd least favourite, so when I say this comic breaths a new air to the outlaws and introduces the characters better than ever, it's coming from a person that's not a fan. Bizaro take was Great, the Artemis Origin was smart and the Jason reasoning and law breaking without killing is awesome. And when he did lost his shit and went for that dude that got shot, I give him points for his actions, I get why he did it, but it's comic world, no one really dies, I wish he new that. I love the direction the plot is going and I love how Batman is even more hurt for having his promise broken. With this beautiful art, it ties in so well. Overall I think everyone who likes to get the gist of the corners DC World, should have read of outlaws, it's Fun, intelligent and surprising. That's the comic in 3 words.
