ok sorry if this is ignorant but idk jack shit about comics oliver queen and very little about the arrowfam in general. most of my exposure is through roy’s stint in the outlaws (bad), their appearance in some batman JL titles, and the TT/YJ shows. i tried watching the arrow CW show ages ago and i hated it bc i had wanted to watch some guy with a sick ass big mustache run around with a silly hat on not whatever that was. anyway ..where was i going with this. oh yeah when i’ve seen people in dc fandoms talk about/portray oliver queen in the fanworks or tumblr posts i’ve read, he appears to be either some dickheaded misogynist and genuine asshole OR ultimate woke feminist king. so does anyone want to try to condense like sixty years of probably contradictory comic history into a convenient little blurb and tell me which of those fandom stereotypes is actually closer to canon. or maybe you want to take a poll you guys like polls right? pspsps green arrow enjoyers come here take a poll
