It's been a while.

Imagining some post-meeting the Templars and Geist gets her psionics in a more stable state which helps her health. Finally picking up some weight and looking less like a zombie stick.

Eh mobile post. First sketch in a long time. Actually having to relearn how to draw!

Was looking at old initial out of suit Jynn and felt like redrawing that. Link to it.

Still trying to figure out how to mix her features correctly but this is better than some of the I nitial sketches. Made her look too white more than her actually America/African black/Japanese mix heritage >_>. Though her skin color in that being ridiculously pale is on purpose to get across how badly the Elders screwed her up.

So this is probably her current rough look in the fic. Features will soften when her health gets better. Still going to work on it.

Friend: “How would Bradford react if/when they eventually meet Maker?”

Me: “Instant overprotective friend/boyfriend mode would kick in much to Jynn’s annoyance.”

if you don’t mind the spoilers 👀, what would chosen commander’s relationship with the other chosen siblings be like???

Sure sure. Don’t think this would be too spoiler-y

Assassin - She gets along just fine with her because of that dreaded human “empathy”. Got that sibling sister dynamic with the Commander filling the elder role. The two spar fairly often to hone each other’s skills and off and on secretly do joint work together. Yes the Elders hate that but can’t lie that work gets done.

Hunter - A mutual tolerance borderlining frenemy. They do avoid each other for the most part, but dear ol’ Hunter takes pot shots when he can. Says he’s doing it to keep her on her toes. She replies with her own shots or stabs depending on her mood. She pities that broken mind of his and can sense there is something inside him that needs fixing. Which technically would be the reason why they rarely work together since the Elders could pick up she picks that up and don’t want her fixing that because she’s temporarily done that once and a sane Hunter was scary. A fun round of mind wiping for everyone!

Warlock - Tolerance borderlining hating each other. The two just don’t get along at all. She hates his blind worship and fanaticism to the Elders and his over reliance on Psionics. He hates her lack of zealous drive, how she views how he uses his psionics, she’s too soft on humans, she’s earning the Elders favor too quickly, and some other petty things. Oh and feels like she hasn’t earned her form as it is too close to the elders(she’s got four arms) and that Raal’Maker is the one she directly answers to(okay a bit of a spoiler but I have each Chosen that has an Elder they directly answer to and usually it’s the same one that had a making in their “ascension.”) Having the two work together for any reason is like pulling teeth. Given the opportunity they would kill each other.

Marks from the Elders??? 👀

Yep! Going off of what we can see on the Assassin and the Warlock’s faces. But with my own backstory/reasoning twists for the story!

I like to think those marks may extend to the rest of their body. I wonder what the Hunter’s may be but that hood is in the way so I should have fun coming up with something one day.

EDIT CORRECTION: I totally forgot about the factions comic and here’s the Hunter’s facial marks XD

And yes I do! Well more like a side profile I did for Sketchtober...I think last year. I need to do a front view and brainstorm some more. So spoilers for when there will be discussions about this in the fic and then another AU fic I started writing.

But in short, and spoilers, Raal’Maker put a lot of love into designing her Chosen body. And she’s got luscious white locks to give the Warlock a run for his money.

This idea hit me earlier in the day but is a new headcanon for me. Betos, and by extension the rest of the Skirmishers, treat my Commander like family no questions asked. Whether they know all the details about her imprisonment by the Elders or not, she’s family to them. Like they can just detect what the Elders have done to her. And possible DNA editing they’ve done.

There’s the occasional head butting here and there(sometimes literally) with some that question her decisions, but it eventually settles down.
