Have you ever accidentally called Master Tapal “dad?”

*his face flushes red and he tugs the hood of his cloak down over his eyes* O-okay, so maybe I have once or twice but it wasn’t my fault!

The first time, Commander Nimble was teaching me some words in Mando’a and I asked what the word for ‘Master’ was and he said it was ‘buir’ but he lied! So I went around calling Master Jaro ‘buir’ for two months, two months! And nobody said anything!!

And the second time was also not my fault because I had gotten hurt pretty bad in the battle so our medic, Sweep, gave me some painkillers and I-I... I accidentally called both Master Jaro and Commander Nimble ‘dad’! It was so embarrassing!!

Cal, what do you think about the clones? You seem to have a great relationship with the Commander!

Yeah, Commander Nimble is the best! He’s one of my best friends. They all call me “vod’ika” sometimes. They’re all really good people and I care a lot about them. Sergeant Grant used to scare me a little bit because he’s sort of intimidating, but he’s actually really nice when you get to know him.

And! One of my other close friends—the other clones call him a “shiny” because he’s new—is named Fifty-Five, and he wants me to help him come up with his real name. When we get more paint, he said he wants to put his handprint and my handprint next to each other on his chest plate.

Sooo... any luck with convincing the Commander to teach you how to shoot?

Commander Cal Kestis is not allowed to shoot any blasters because last time he touched somebody’s blaster, he had one of his “Force Flashbacks” and nearly shot me in the leg.

Besides, a lightsaber is a far superior weapon anyways. Blasters are so unrefined.

Thank you!!! I haven’t told any of them yet... though I kinda want to. Part of me wants to get them to join ‘cause it would be really fun! Maybe I could convince Commander Nimble to get an account. But also... I’m kind of afraid to ask because I’m worried that they’ll judge me.

What do you prefer Cal: meditating or sparring?

Hmmm... I like both a lot, but I think I prefer meditating I like being able to feel the Force most of all.

I do still really want Commander Nimble to teach me how to use his blaster, though.

Cal, do you have any hobbies?

I like to read! And sometimes I work on customizations for my lightsaber and sometimes I try to upgrade parts on BD.

I’m also trying to convince Commander Nimble to teach me to shoot his blaster but he keeps saying no.

Porridge is no longer with us.

Nimble said we couldn’t keep him so I have him to Trilla to watch over for a little while.

And next time we’re on Coruscant together, I’m going to take him back!
