7. Most heartbreaking moment in each part of the triology and why? 

in me1 its the attack on the citadel cause of the innocents that had to die during that, me2 is a tie between seeing the virmire survivor and the normandy crash site, so far in the me3 its seeing thane die(he didnt deserve that at all fuck you bioware) but i also havent finished it yet so its probably gonna get worse

13. What was the perfect ending for you and why?

im gonna guess that this is for me3 and i havent finished yet im sorry

15. Favorite alien race and why?

the quarians, they just interest me allot and i wanna know more about them, also tali, shes made me love them

16. Least favorite alien race and why?

honestly rn its the salariens cause of the genophage and then the dalatrass trying to get you to fuck over the krogans idk i just really really dont like that at all (i love mordin tho)

2. What’s your favorite part of the triology?

When you find out about the creators of the reapers that was so nice. Its just like wow this species was so advanced to make such powerful machines

3. Favorite male companion and why?

Garrus Vakarian because he’s a sweetheart turian with 0 romance skills but still tries

4. Favorite female companion and why?

Tali because she has such a elegant and pretty concept but inside her suit she is a huge nerd. Also best normandy impressions ever

5. Most interesting mission in each part of the triology and why?

1st: When you get to Ilos and you find out how far the protheans went to stop the reapers but still failed

2nd: Probably meeting thane cause his entrance was pretty amazing

3rd: While the party in anderson’s apartment was AMAZING I have to go with when you meet leviathan and find out about them

6. Who was your romance interest? If you changed it, why?

First play through was Kaiden -> Thane -> Thane/Kaiden

Second I thought I would pick garrus so I didn’t romance anyone during the first game then went pure garrus and I DONT REGRET IT! He is such a sweetie pie

7. Most heartbreaking moment in each part of the triology and why?

1st: Not being able to romance Garrus

2nd: Garrus almost dying for sure, also finding out about thane’s illness

3rd: THANE’s DEATH I cried so hard and when I got the dlc through my 2nd playthrough i cried harder cause that memorial was horrible and then the video messages! HE WAS A GOOD GUY he didn’t deserve that

2. What’s your favorite part of the triology?

Well, i really like the loyalty missions. Including the interaction with your companions. Its really nice making friends with them. Added bonus, your friends do not die.

6. Who was your romance interest? If you changed it, why?

Its always been Kaidan, ive tried to romance others but??? i love him so much i cant romance anyone but him. Ill just watch romance videos on youtube and pretend i romanced everyone else.

7. Most heartbreaking moment in each part of the triology and why?

Okay in, Mass effect 1 its obvious. My heart shattered when i found out i had to leave either Kaidan and Ashley on Virmire. I cried for three days. In Mass effect 2, it had to be either meeting up with Kaidan and/or Shepard dying. (Kaidan means a lot to me, youll have to excuse me) And lastly, In Mass effect 3, THE WHOLE ENDING. EVERYTHING! IS! SO! SAAAAD!

13. What was the perfect ending for you and why?

The Destroy ending of course. like I saw a post on tumblr floating around saying something like, “you’ve spent like 3 games trying to defeat the reapers” why control them? why let them help? theyve done nothing but create chaos, when rlly they say theyre making order. Order my ass! Destroy the reapers like you were originally supposed to do. yeah EDI dying sucked ass but it was for a great cause (Thanks EDI)

“Hey, Kivari?”

Alistair’s voice brings my attention from my blades. The tension before the final battle practically sung in the air. I distracted myself best I could from it all, numbing my mind through the familiar steps of maintaining my equipment.

I set my tools aside, stretching from my seat on the floor. “Yeah? What’d’ya need?”

Alistair lays across the couch at the end of our bed, fingers tangled in his mother’s necklace. His brows are knitted together in an unfamiliar expression of seriousness. I can’t blame him, the end is so close. One would think it might bring a sense of relief but really it’s the exact opposite. All this work, all this literal blood and tears poured into cleaning up this mess, the stress of seeing it through was at it’s peak.

“Alistair…” I prompt after his silence persists, scooting away from my mess of gears and contraptions to rest my chin on the cushion beside him. His hand untangles from the necklace only to lace calloused fingers into my own. “What’s eating at ya’?”

“Do you think I’m ah-” He clears his throat, shifting onto his side to better talk. “Do you think I’m soft?”

The question catches me soft guard. My eyebrow quirks, mirroring his habit I happened to pick up early in our quest. “Soft?” I breathe with a quiet laugh. “What kind of question is that? I mean, I don’t think you’ve eaten that much cheese.”

“Oh you haven’t seen anything yet. But no, that’s not what I meant. I was just thinking of something Arl Eamon said-”

He pauses again, noticing how quickly the smile dropped from my lips. It wasn’t a secret how I was prone to disagreeing with most, if not everything, the arl had to say. I remained complacently silent out of care for Alistair and…an earned respect at how well Eamon took the news of his son. But there was always a nagging distaste for the man I couldn’t shake and all of it revolved around the way Alistair was treated as a boy. Arl Eamon’s fault or not

"Well it made me think of something Morrigan had said. Now that I think of it even more so there was also something Zevran said. Of course some Knight-captains, a Chantry sister or two-”

“That’s a few who-saids.”

“Yeah give me a second I have a point. They all said the same thing though. Too soft. I’m just thinking…that’s…is that just some type of coincidence? Seems a bit too convenient.”

“Alistair, I think you may be looking into this a bit much.”

“Am I? I don’t take charge. In anything. I mean I was the Junior Warden and, while you are no doubt a very capable woman, logically I should’ve done something. Right? But I didn’t.” He sits up abruptly, rubbing the back of his neck in an anxious display I’d seen so very often.

“I am soft. Squishy and such, like Leliana’s nug.”

“So?” I challenge, pulling myself onto the couch now that there was space. “Yeah, you’re soft. Why does that have to be a bad thing?” I tug on Alistair’s arm, urging him to face me. I press my hand to lay flatly against his chest as I speak. “You’ve got a damn good heart and are too good a man to have to put up with their nonsense. If anything this world needs more softies.”

“But-”

“No. No but’s. Don’t you listen to them, Alistair. Don’t you listen to any of them.”

His large hands take hold of mine again after a moment of silence. “You’re right.” He chuckles. I reflect the action as his scruff tickles my hand with a kiss. “At least I trust you are.”

“Pwff. Of course I am. Have I ever led you wrong, Ali-dear?”

“Well-”

“Shush you.”

The first character I first fell in love with: Shianni! I absolutely adore her and she deserved so much better.


The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
 Blackwall. He seemed so boring, unmentionable, and then downright repulsive for a time. But as the game progressed and I spent more time looking at his character I started to really, really, love his character.

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Solas. He’s a well written character don’t get me wrong, and he does have multiple good qualities. But I just????? I’m not crazy about him??? I don’t know, maybe I’m just salty because he shat on all my Lavellan’s beliefs and is one hell of a know-it-all.


The character I love that everyone else hates: 
Once again, Blackwall. He gets so much hate and while I can understand why I also feel like people conveniently forget about like 99.9% of companion banter and various dialogue options. I can go on and on about Blackwall tbh but I’ll save ya’ll the lecture.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: 
I haven’t really lost love for any characters?? Once they’re in my heart tHEY STAY THERE. THAT’S HOW I GET PROBLEMATIC FAVES.

The character I would totally smooch: Which one’s wouldn’t I smooch is the real question. (but if we’re being picky then Zevran. I really, really wanna smooch Zevran.)


The character I’d want to be like: Josephine. She’s such a sweetheart!!! Actual princess!!!! So much kind patience!!!! Also she could rip apart empires if she wanted to and that’s great.


The character I’d slap: Solas.That fucking egg knew sO MUCH but would tell us sO LITTLE. FUCK.


A pairing that I love: Merril/Isabela, The Iron Bull/Dorian, Cole/flowers and sunshine. Y’know, the important stuff.


A pairing that I despise: Alistair/Morrigan.  It’s unhealthy, why do people insist on hate-sex ships? It’s ooc and I just....no. I can’t stand it. Same goes for Anders/Fenris.
