Commit Yourself Completely by Car Seat Headrest Live Album Review

This album is different; it was all recorded live on their tour and it makes the songs so visceral. One thing about Car Seat Headrest that is undeniable, is their ability to perform perfect live shows, not adequate, but sincerely perfect performances. I saw them live at 80/35 in Des Moines, IA, and even with their monitors out of commission, they played flawlessly. That is why this album does not do what so many live albums before it have, and that’s suck; it sincerely does not suck at all, it’s amazing. Some of their best songs, played with the passion they put into everything they do, recorded raw and real for our listening pleasure. One of the best bands on the planet, in plenty more ways than one. 

RIYL: Neutral Milk Hotel, Alex G, Frankie Cosmos (nobody really can match Will Toledo’s vocals though, if we’re being honest...which we are)

Unpopular opinion (?) I hate the Commit Yourself Completely version of Beach Life-in-Death
