Carnelian

I think carnelian is a very under appreciated stone as far as crystal magic goes, and in particular it’s a fantastic stone for students. Here’s why!

The italicized uses in particular make it a great stone to carry with you when you have a presentation! Carnelian is usually inexpensive (I got mine from a geology shop for a dollar), and I’ll be posting some spells that feature it in the next few weeks.

so, i noticed something interesting; do Carter Peseverance magic make him into a Stealth videogame character? i mean, Frisk (and asriel and Chara) Red soul(s) make them the protagonists.

Purple / Magenta colors are linked to Pattern Magic in Ebott's Wake. Pattern Magic is okay at manipulating the environment and spectacular at analyzing and understanding it. And yes, I did draw on many interface elements and perks in various first person sneaking games when I wrote the last chapter, from the Thief series to Deus Ex to Dishonored.

Red magic, on the other hand, is about Communication. And, speaking purely hypothetically, if you had an adventuring party filled with ragtag misfits? It would make sense if the leader of said group had a special knack for connecting with people from widely differing places, times, upbringings, and affinities.
