1. Climbing to the rise of another hill you get a good look at the surrounding farmland, then there is a thunderous boom, followed by another and another, as the farm houses in the distance drop into the ground. If you are quick, lives might be still be saved.
2. Outlaws run at you from the woods, pleading for help, some even going as far as offering to serve you if you can save them. Nothing comes out after them. 3. Rises to the top of the cliff you see the only bridge that spans the chasm, but between you and it is the huge bronze dragon and it's tavern run by kobolds and halve-dragons. Next to you is a sign written out in 5 different languages; "rat catchers are to remind themselves of the idiocy of trying to rob a dragon of gold, prize, or toll.
4. You meet a trading caravan heading the other way, they've had a rather unsuccessful trip and are willing to sell any of they normal wares or the 1d3 results from magic table b-d (roll a d4).
5. The path splits into 6 other directions, but to your knowledge, it's not meant to at all until after you've reached your destination. Down each of the paths you see a tower rising over the horizon moving towards any of the towers leads you to seeing all the other towers and paths disappear and now the path you came down is directly behind you. Is it a metaphor for life, or a wizards doing? I mean, probably both.

10. An owlbear sits in the middle of the path. It waves to you when it sees you. Pointing down to it's foot you see it is caught in a trap. If you approach it uses it's wing spell out it's story in the dirt. Somehow a group of umps got there hands on a scroll of true polymorphism and then even managed to cast it!
