#GeorgeStinney was 14 years old in the #JimCrow era when he was #electrocuted in #SouthCarolina. The jury took only 10 minutes to find him guilty of a crime he didn't commit (killing to white girls). He was barely 5 feet tall and didn't weigh 100 lbs; he was short that the prison guards used books for him to sit on the #electricchair. In 2014 he was exonerated, and the family received a deep apology. A little too late because he was the youngest to receive capital punishment 👎🏾👎🏾!!! 14 Little George didn't know his rights, and probably wouldn't have made a difference. Our organization, The Courage To Believe International is geared towards 🌟 SAVING 50 Black Males from #PRISON. This Summer & Fall🍂 I'm hosting life skill #workshops to teach the youth how to deal with the police when stopped, understand their #BillofRights, #bookwriting, #bookpublishing, decision making, and #career planning. If you think this is important then - Please contact us for bookings, and for more information. Spread the word to #Teachers, #Principals, #CommunityActivists, and Park Directors!!! (We're in #Florida but will travel to anywhere in the world ✈ or ⛵️): ____________________________________ [email protected] or inbox me. http://www.thecouragetobelieve.com/media/lecture/__________________________________ #BlackLivesMatter #BlackOnBlackLove #BlackOnBlackCrime #CrimeSolutions #Lifeskills #GreenMile
