Size comparison of the Pippi doll, since @modernwizard asked. She's basically 1/6 scale kid sized, perhaps her head is a bit unnecessarily big. The dress she's wearing is Licca, so I guess they're pretty close in size, they're just shaped a bit differently (Pippi looks more like a traditional child doll than a fashion doll). (This Licca is on a 21cm Obitsu body, which is a bit shorter than her original body). Pippi has a really big face for her head, I guess that's the main challenge in integrating her into the 1/6 crowd. Lots of teeth and jaw, almost no nose. She's a bit of a caricature, a bit Alfred E. Neuman-esque. And yeah, I'm not sure anything can be done about the mold. According to what I've read it won't spread to other dolls, but I don't think you can really get rid of it either.
