I'm trying to make the best out of a promotion from a publisher and need to decide on which book to get:
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Pure by Julianna Baggott
I'm interested in Shiver because of the critiques I've read on it but Pure sounds interesting too because of the general idea. TORN. HELP ME?
EDIT: I chose Pure. After reading a few reviews I got so intrigued by it I decided to get it. I hope it lives up to those reviews.

Nexus by Ramez Naam. I assumed it would be a B-grade thriller with incorrect and implausible psychological tech. Little did I know that the author knew his shit.

right?? I mean I know I shouldn’t be the slightest bit of attracted to Ty, taking into accounts of all his wrong doings ( i.e the kidnapping & the stalking), but sometimes I can’t help but do. Especially after learning about his back story and his life and the way he perceives the world.
The whole thing screws with my mind and my values and basically everything! Which is one of the main reason why i find the book to be absolutely brilliant.
ahh I’m sorry for rambling on! But the book really gets to me.

How many books do you own (excluding ebooks)? 280, give or take a few.
What is your favorite genre? YA contemporary and dystopian. But one of my goals it to branch out in 2014.
Least favorite character? Dolores Umbridge, for sure. Although, I've started reading Game of Thrones and I can already tell that Joffrey is just a little shit, so.
Do you visit a bookstore just to admire and browse books but not really buy anything? Not really. I can hardly ever not buy something if I go in a bookstore.
What do you think is the book with the most interesting plot twist? Hopeless by Colleen Hoover or City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.
What books broke your heart into pieces? The Book Thief, The Fault in Our Stars, Second Chance Summer, The Time Traveler's Wife, basically any sad book.
What would you tell the authors that broke your heart? I'd say "You wrote an excellent piece of literature, but can you please be nicer next time."
Where do you read often? (Bed, dining room, living room, public places…?) Laying in my bed or sitting on the couch.
How much is your allowance for books? I don't have an allowance for books.
How often do you buy books? Too often, that's for sure.
