Spring 2021 Completed Shows
Odd Taxi
13 Episodes
Holy shit. I was not expecting the last episode to be that show changing.
Initially I thought that it was closer to what people thought - saying it represents a lot of issues people deal with represented through animals but like -it's so much more and way more interesting.
I don't think I could've ever predicted that twist, and it was so satisfying to see everything from a different pov.
Final verdict:
despite the last episode being absolutely insane and making the whole show an entirely different thing, I think that the 12 episodes leading up to it were slow and I could've dropped it.

So I'm a Spider, So What?
24 Episodes
God this was such a slow build.
If it gets a second season I think that one will be significantly more interesting than this one. This season felt like a mess and it took 24 episodes to start coming together for the main goal of the show, which is way too long.

Mars Red
13 Episodes
This is such a complete story. It's nice to finally watch a show that knows how long it'll be airing and complete it's story telling within that time frame.
I think the research behind this show is really neat and the animation/art style of it was also intriguing.
This was definitely a romantic series, not necessarily about love but the way the story is told is a romance about life and vampires and everything around it.
Despite liking the overall feeling of the show, it doesn't stand out too much to me and thus is very average.

Shadows House
13 Episodes
What an excellent ending.
This series was so fun to watch, and definitely pulls you into the story.
There's so much to look forward to in the next season and I think there's a lot more that can be done.
It's super unique and just overall so well done.
