I just want to hop on my soapbox and say that i am so completely normal about Link and Zelda as characters. Like in the most recent game (Echoes of Wisdom), they don't know each other like BOTW/TOTK, Skyward Sword, or Wind Waker.

Link is literally just some guy who genuinely wants to help the people of Hyrule, even at the cost of his life. And then, after he's sucked into the Rifts, Zelda picks up his cloak and keeps it, even when she's thrown into prison like 😭 Can you imagine keeping a cloak of the person who saved you, even tho there's 0 relationship between you two outside of them saving you?

Even when they're two complete strangers, the love that they have for each other is SO POWERFUL that it literally transcends lifetimes. I'm gonna bury my head in a pillow and scream

Ofc, maybe I'm being crazy and reading way, way too far into a kid's game but I'm,, im so normal.
