Aiqua Propaganda (Incest, Age gap, Necro if Aqua's no longer a child)
"I really can't emphasize enough how much ai has imbedded herself into aqua's mind. At one point he's asked what kind of girls he likes, and he pretty much just describes her, then confirming that she's exactly the type he means when someone brings her up. When an actress perfectly matches ai's energy and personality, he gets legitimately flustered. They're also fascinating in their shared aro energy, as Ai was never truly able to love anyone her entire life, terrified to say "i love you" to her kids because she didn't want to say it and realize it was a lie. come to her death, she FINALLY says it, and whadya know she genuinely means it. Aqua, meanwhile, has a lot of trouble sorting out his feelings in general. He does understand love better than her, but between thinking of her as 'a previous love [he] can't get over' and having to compare every romantic prospect in his life to the intensity he felt as her idol fan, he's in a very strange position he can't figure out. throw in the fact that his original age difference and the way he gets so fed up with adults not protecting kids makes it really clear that at least SOME of his feelings towards ai are parental in nature, and you have a really tasty double-parenting kind of feedback loop. i want to study these two."
AquaRuby Propaganda (Incest, Pseudo-age gap through Reincarnation)
"Ruby and Aqua have a much more reborn-as-twins starcrossed soulmates kinda thing going on, and they're also just adorable to boot. from day 1 as twins they have a very funny Fellow Otaku relationship, almost more like coworkers, and they both have a sort of protective streak to them; aqua is DETERMINED to make sure the same fate does not befall ruby, often going to stalkerish manipulative tactics to keep her in his safety zone. meanwhile, ruby gets annoyed when he's flirty with girls and actively decides she'll pick his girlfriend for him, because CLEARLY she gets a say in that, DUH, right? ruby's also the only one who directly comments on the way he /changed/ after ai's death, which is impressive given how their memories from that age aren't very good(cus, yknow, they were toddlers). ruby often jokes that aqua has a "sister complex", and frankly, it's not a joke. at the same time, he's a liar in the end; he SWEARS he won't let her become an idol, but then ends up HELPING her become one and even goes above and beyond to make sure she'll be ready for her first show. basically they're really soft and they could get over their trauma together if they tried i think."

LicoIvlis Propaganda (Incest, Age Gap)
"Propaganda is.... unfortunately for Ivlis, that may actually be the healthiest relationship available to him. His other love interests tend to torment if not outright abuse him, or HE'S abusing THEM, and Lico is pretty much the only person who genuinely cares about him and wants him /happy,/ above his own wants. Although it's been taken down(so possibly isn't canon anymore?), there's an infamous comic of them called Dangerous Night, where Lico, currently in his adult form, gives into his urges and sneaks into Ivlis's room and Does Stuff while he's sleeping...... aaaand is IMMEDIATELY hit with the guilt and disgust upon post-nut clarity. He spends so much time protecting him, getting him out of trouble with his dad, actively hurting said dad for trying to torment ivlis further, and just generally being his white knight. In the little official-au where licorice is magical girl'd, Lico pretty much takes on a Tuxedo Mask kind of persona, and i think that tells you everything you need to know. and all of this combined with the fact that he actually seems to mostly respect that ivlis doesn't feel the same yet, so you have PLENTY of room for indefinite pining over thousands of years of two immortal lives."

Kaeluc Propaganda (Pseudo-incest)
"I love them. In terms of canon -- they have very friends -> enemies -> lovers energy to me. It's not canon when exactly Diluc's family adopted Kaeya, but I like to headcanon Diluc got his vision BECAUSE of Kaeya in some way. And if you know about Genshin lore you know that's a crystallization of his soul and therefore represents his desires and goals. I like to think Diluc's loved Kaeya before he even really understood what that meant - that's why Diluc was so upset when he thought Kaeya had "betrayed" him during the fight they got into. They're both the sort to blame the fight on themselves and think their love is unrequited because of said fight; Diluc because he seriously hurt Kaeya (in canon even injuring his eye) and Kaeya because he picked a day where Diluc was already raw and upset to reveal he'd been keeping a pretty big secret from him. These two men are so very sad and I think they should kiss about it."

At one point in the game we find out that the flowers in lumine's hair are the flowers of khaenriah, the nation the abyss twin is trying to revive. if you're playing as lumine, she mentions waking up with them in her hair…. which means abyss!aether had to go out of his way to find her while she was sleeping, put them in her hair, and NOT wake her right away. there's some reason to believe he was building the nation as a home for the both of them before things went south… what a sweet boy."
