alright guys, since 5sos are announcing lots of presales for their upcoming shows here is a couple tips on how i have gotten and sold some of my concert tickets.
- tickets usually have a presale and that usually means that you must be signed up for an emailing list to get the code.

- have ticketmaster and livenation downloaded on your phone in case you are not home during the presale or general sale, but your best bet is to be on a computer.
- if you are going with friends make sure ONE PERSON is buying the tickets. you have a very low chance of buying seats together if you do it separately. also make sure that they have the money to pay you back!!
- if you are going in a group its the best to have both of you trying to order them. more hands, the better luck you have!
- make sure you are checking back on ticketmaster and that you have the right presale and general sale time.
- be prepared and organized the day of. i usually will login to my account, have my card handy and the browser open 10-20 minutes prior. LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT FIRST IS SUPER IMPORTANT!
- check out vipnation for extras such as parking, and soundcheck!
- this is the trickiest part of the damn websites like ticketmaster. the first seats that will show up will usually be lawn seats and seats towards the back.
DO NOT BUY THE FIRST TICKETS THAT COME UP
- this has been my ultimate wrong every time. if you have refreshed and asked for better seats more than 5-10 times go ahead and buy the seats towards the back. it will be better than not having any at all.
HOW TO FIND BETTER SEATS AFTER GENERAL SALE:
- you will now be surfing the internet looking at every goddamn ticket resale and bawling your eyes out because of the prices.
- the best websites are seatgeeks, stubhub and vivdseats i have purchased tickets from all of these websites and have not had any issues with the tickets.
- be aware of service fees. I HAVE PAID $200+ FOR TICKETS BECAUSE I WAS NOT AWARE OF THESE SUCKERS.
- your best bet is to keep looking and wait as close to the show as possible. people will start to get desperate with the prices. my last two times seeing 5sos i scored tickets in the 13-15th rows 2 weeks prior to the concert and I scored floor seats for taylor swift the DAY OF for under $170. just keep checking back and dont lose hope.
- check out ticketmaster too! sometimes even the day of artists will release more tickets because they changed the stage and so on. people are also able to resell on ticketmaster so check back on there as much as you can!
HOW TO SELL YOUR TICKETS:
- if you aren’t able to attend a show or found better seats you always have a way to sell them! don’t get discouraged!
- put them up for sale on resale sites, post ads of your facebook, twitter and tumblr.
- if you have zero luck, lowering the price always helps although it sucks.
- if it is the day of the concert and you have not found ANYONE to buy your tickets, take them with you and sell them. you need to be careful and sneaky about it though. if you are going to an amphitheater try going up to the lawn and asking people! once people are there and they see how far back they are, they will get desperate.
DONT FORGET, CONCERTS ARE SUPPOSED THE BE FUN AND YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT TICKETS TO AN EXTREME.
it really does not matter if you have lawn seats or front row, if the artist is someone you love you will have a great time.
