Can I request a Male Condesce x Violetblood reader ?
Reader is a female Violetblood seadweller who lives in the abyss of Alternia. Her lusus is a giant bioluminescent jellyfish and reader has some bioluminescent spots on her face, earfins and body, and her hair is bioluminescent too (the color of the bioluminescent is the same as her blood).
Reader's way of thinking and life philosophy was very influenced by her lusus : be calm and follow the stream, like a jellyfish. So reader is very chill and open for a violetblood. Since she doesn't really leave the abyss, she didn't know that Condesce was the new emperor when she was the same age as him. It's when she came to the surface to take a walk that she saw the new propaganda and was like : oh... maybe I should come by his castle to pay my respect.
Condesce is very fond of reader, even of at first he was irritated when several months after his coronation, he saw her coming in his castle like a jellyfish to pay him her respects (whereas she should have done that DURING the coronation)
Thanks

You haven't left your hive that often. Many trolls, even seadwellers, spent a lot of time on land. You've spent most of your life at sea, in an abyss where even your kind have never descended. Before, when you were younger, the only one who came down to you was the heir to the imperial throne, one of those who was still alive. You didn't send him away, and he kept coming. But even if he stopped coming, you wouldn't be upset. You're used to living with the flow. That's what your lusus, the big jellyfish, taught you. You looked like a jellyfish yourself, not just in appearance. The heir told you about it sometimes and you just shrugged your shoulders. You were more than happy with your life and you didn't plan to change anything. You weren't worried about what was happening on the surface. It was like you were living in your own little world, hidden from prying eyes. But it couldn't last your whole life
You noticed that the heir stopped visiting you, but you understood that he could have had a lot of reasons for this. He could have died, or he could have just found something more interesting to do than come to you, who didn't hide anything from him and who was always calm even when he was trying to get you to show your emotions. You were getting older, and your lusus insisted that you go ashore and find out how the situation was there. Although you were relatively safe, you had to be prepared for anything that could happen. All those who saw you coming out of the sea looked at you in fright. You, walking like a jellyfish floating on the waves, didn't even change your face. But you've seen a lot of different posters and flyers that say that Alternia now has a new emperor. The news surprised you. You didn't even realize that you missed the coronation. You didn't know who exactly was in power now, but you knew for sure that you had to go to the imperial palace to pay your respects. If the emperor found out that you ignored him, then you could have serious problems, and the last thing you wanted was for your peaceful life to end
Condesce reveled in his power. He finally got what he had been craving for so long. He was the emperor, the one who was feared, the one to whom no one dared to say anything, and now he could remake the planet the way he wanted, and then deal with other parts of the galaxy. He had huge plans. The only thing that still hurt in his chest was that you didn't come to his coronation. He was sure that you would come even if it was at the last moment. Condesce was so used to the fact that you were somewhere nearby that he thought it was a matter of course that you would come. But now he couldn't come to you so easily. He was thinking about how he would send someone to check on you, even if it would lead to the death of those he would send to find you. He was brought out of his thoughts by a servant who was clearly afraid to disturb him, but who was supposed to inform him that they had come to the emperor. He expected to see an impudent man who dared to come to him so boldly, but when he saw who it was, he froze. It was you
You didn't even try to hide your surprise when you saw the familiar face of the one who sat on the throne. You easily bowed your head in a curtsy, and in a firm voice he told the others to leave, leaving you alone. The trolls hurried to obey the order. When you were alone, he hurried over to you, too angry to talk to you calmly. He immediately demanded answers from you about why you didn't come sooner. You didn't even try to think about your answer a little bit, saying bluntly that you didn't even know that he had become emperor. He froze when he heard your answer. His battle for the throne was a long time ago when both of you were younger, but you, being in the abyss, didn't even know about it. His anger finally receded when a soft, calm smile touched your lips, after which you congratulated him on his ascension to the throne. You thought that would be the end of your stay at the palace, but you were wrong. Condesce wasn't going to let you go after not seeing you for so long
You've come to terms with the fact that he wasn't planning on letting you go anytime soon. It was unusual for you to be on land, and even more so because so many eyes were on you. You were the one who was by the emperor's side. No one would dare to name what happened between you, and only when no one would definitely overhear them would they whisper about it. Condesce himself would not dare to tell about his feelings for you. But now you were there, calm as a jellyfish, floating on the waves no matter what. Perhaps one day he would have told you how he felt about you, but for now he remained silent, content to have you by his side
