Another tall chawan tea bowl just listed in my shop. I’ve been experimenting with using more color in my slip work recently which led me to thinking about how I could be more playful three dimensionally. Here’s a vase (inspired in part by some Korean moon jars and Tang Dynasty incense burners) I made using two of my tea bowl forms joined rim to rim with some additions of pulled handle sections.
