i hate how people infantilize daeho, he is a grown ass man in his 30s! just because he has ptsd and is kind to others, that doesn't make him a child. and while i'm at it, it's OK to ship or not ship whatever you want, but if you're telling people they're problematic or pr0ship for shipping daeho x jungbae then YOU'RE the weird one here. they're two adult men and both of them are far over the age of 18. jungbae isn't his "dad" either. their interactions are more like peers or coworkers than familial. i don't even ship them but i think people should feel free to ship them if they want without others treating it as taboo.

like i said, you can interpret daeho and his relationships with others however you want. if you want to baby him or see other characters as his family then fine, idgaf. but it's deeply weird and annoying to harass and attack others because of YOUR headcanons that YOU MADE UP IN YOUR OWN BRAIN, that aren't aren't reflected in canon in any way 😑 if you don't like to see it then just block and move on

Hopper in s3 is 1) not at all who Hopper was in s1&2, and 2) incredibly toxic and gross. I'm sorry, but I think its a little fucking insane to try to trick your friend into going on a date with you while she is STILL GRIEVING the violent death of her boyfriend. It's shown multiple times that Joyce is not completely done mourning Bob yet, understandable because he was mauled to death in front of her less than a year ago. I love Jopper but their dynamic in s3 is so uncomfortable considering Joyce's ex husband, and her now ex boyfriend. And it's not like the writers just forgot about Lonnie or smth bc Murray literally makes a joke about her being in an abusive relationship, and now her and Hopper are supposed to have a "romantic" dynamic where they are constantly arguing and Hopper is being incredibly rude, possessive (insulting her for... hanging out with guys... hes not even dating her yet), and just kind of mean.

His character just does a total 180 and it's so frustrating to me. in s1&2 he was flawed, yes, and solved a lot of problems via vigilante violence, but he's also introspective, protective, and it's clear he's trying his best to care for and help the people he loves. He doesn't even get MAD the same way in s3. In the first two seasons he has more of a quiet, intimidating rage, and he has a much longer temper, and in s3 he just goes ballistic and starts yelling at anything that annoys him. I HATE it.

and btw him surviving the blast via jumping off the bridge is the stupidest plot hole ive ever seen in my life. He would've been evaporated. It's in the canon text. I'm not saying I want him to die, but they had so many other options for how he would survive.
