I can imagine minho and newt being in the same class. Thomas spots newt in a corridor and instantly falls in love, so being the bestie he is minho becomes dedicated to finding as much about newt as possible, but he starts asking him such strange questions newt figures it out walks up to thomas and tells him

"If you like me, ask me out, and you can choose where we go as you already know literally everything about me"

"Okay," thomas says, dumbfounded as newt walks off, rolling his eyes. Frypan (who has been saying this was a stupid idea this whole time) and minho imeadiatly run up to him, asking him a million questions as thomas stares at where newt just was.

The others all agreed that Roman and Virgil acted differently after Thomas came home from the mall. They were both happier and Roman had gushed to Patton about this cute boy Thomas had met at the mall.

Patton was so happy, less because of the boy and more because that was the first real conversation they had since after the wedding. Patton almost cried from how happy he was that Roman was speaking to him again. He decided that it would be best not to bring up anything yet and just give time for roman to be happy.

He hasn't seen Roman smile like that in a while.

In fact, none of them had. And they didn't realize how much they missed it till now. The way he would smile and gush about something he cared about. How he bounced on his heels and fanned his hands around. He would smile so brightly that it lit up the room. His laugh was so joyful, it was contagious. 

None of them could remember when Roman had stopped being that happy...

But at least he was happier now, even if he still avoided most of the others. Even if he avoided everyone but Virgil.

Patton was actually quite happy at how good friends they were.

thomas had been sitting under the canopy for quite some time just thinking really .He was confused about this place yes,but also about this feeling it was one Thomas couldn’t place.

But then Newt appears and this feeling comes back and his stomach feels like there’s a million little things flying around. As newt sits down he speaks

“ tommy are you alright you look like you just came out the box!?”

“no no i’m fine really” Thomas says as he readjusts his face

“but i do have one question. I have this feeling in my stomach and my mind it’s kind of like this fear? I don’t even know if i should ask you this because you make it so much.. worse? I mean I only feel it when i’m looking at you or thinking about you”

he cant finish as newt starts laughing

“HA HAHA HAH Tommy are you serious!?” Newt says with largest smile

“of course i’m serious. Why are you laughing?”

“Tommy i’m laughing because those thing your feelings are what happens when you like someone”

“well i do like you but does this mean i don’t like Minho?i mean he’s a nice guy.”

“No not like a friend ..it’s when you like like someone, like more then a friend

“Oh OH Umm i’m so sorry i didn’t mean to err ..tell you that or i didn’t really realise i felt that ?” Thomas covers his face.

“Tommy it’s okay seriously i kinda feel the same when i’m with you !”

“Oh okay….what does .”

Thomas stops talking as Newt pulls Thomas’s hand down from his face and holds it tightly staring into Thomas’s eyes.

“HEY NEWT WE NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE” minho shouts

newt turns to thomas

“we’ll talk later yeah?” before he gets up he turns and kisses thomas on the cheek and limps off.

Those million things in Thomas’s stomach turn into a billion.
