I started a tradition for my children and egun (ancestors) for Easter... to make something homemade and sweet!! This year's feature is sweet potato pie.. last year it was peach cobbler and the time before that it was strawberry cake!!! It’s become my little way of honoring the sweetness of my life, the things that have manifested the year prior and those that are on the way. Currently jamming with my big little people and giving thanks for the simplest things like their musical selections for the day. With no prompt, the littlest (11) turns to #EarthWindAndFire and it’s the most perfect addition... I promise you can smell the love in the air!!!
