Some days the classes are large, some days they’re smaller, some days you have to work around the other activities when you work among the very busy military! So today, we worked on sun salutations for home practice. And we listened to the happy tinkle of laughter from a four-month-old mini-warrior who has already learned to love yoga! And we celebrated the fact that families can yoga together in @connectedwarriors Yoga. Even when part of the family is deployed or working, The community is welcoming and warm! Transitions on my mind and heart...Reason #2...life and job transitions can also be positive—reflecting progress and change. I was honored to attend the promotion of SGT Carongcong to SSG this week. @carong_strong and his wife @tracymaryq are Soldiers and long time @connectedwarriors Yogis. Being married in the military is a challenge and can be difficult to navigate...presenting many opportunities for transition. Promotions don’t come easy...this transition is well deserved. I am proud to be their yoga teacher.
