1. My muse was trying to be a nice and help yours do the washing… unfortunately all your shirts are now stained bright pink.
Laundry wasn't his thing. But in exchange for staying here, Jongin had to help out with some chores. And apparently you had to separate the colors because they could mix in the washing machine? What? "My sailor's suit is all... pink... I--" he choked out as he held the uniform in his hands, mentally slamming his head against a wall because he should have investigated laundry etiquette before attempting to do it. "All the other whites are pink... holy hell."
[I spy sehunpai with a bunch of lovely letters from you and I would like some too! Actually just one would do also -dances for letters- pleaseeee]
O' course I'll give you some letters! Enjoy!
Send ✆ for a morning text letter
You discover a bottled letter at your doorstep. Once you've got the cork out the hole, the letter slides out rather easily.
"Hello! Right now, as I write this letter to you, it is five o'clock in the morning! Rather early, I know. So forgive the mistakes and sloppy writing. I don't seem to function well early in the morning.
I should introduce myself. My name is Jongin. I'm a young sailor whose goal is to travel to as many places as I can! I only have my boat, my supply box, and my list of pen pals. I don't have and handy-dandy fancy technology like a phone or a computer. Mainly 'cause I can't afford it.
Wow, we're becoming not-strangers anymore the further this letter progresses! That's cool."
A detailed sketch of a young man in a sailor's suit is under the mass of words.
"I don't have a camera so I'll draw how I look like. That's me!
Well I'm running out of room on this paper and this is my last sheet. It was nice meeting you.
Best regards,
Jongin"

"Hey. It's Jongin again. I got that letter you sent me. And writing so cryptically that you're the only one who is able to decipher the message isn't funny!
Unless you were being serious? But still. I'm really bad at those things. I'm really good at being straightforward (and honest!!).
Best regards,
Jongin
-- P.S. I liked the little creature you drew at the bottom of your letter for me. It's cute."
Send ♠ for a drunk text letter
"I feel so dizzy and sick and here I am writing to you.
I'm stuck in Russia right now. It's cold and I'm sitting in the park freezing my bum off because I can't afford a room in an inn. Sure, the place is beautiful. But it's so cold. And I guess some person heard me complaining about the weather so he offered me a drink that would keep me warm.
My Russian isn't that good, so I wasn't able to understand what the name of the drink was. It looked like water, but it burned my throat when I drank it. I'm guessing it's some kind of alcohol?
I only drank a few sips before I felt sick and dizzy so it failed at keeping me warm. And I'm starting to feel tired.
I pray I survive and that this letter makes it to you.
Pray for me,
A scared Jongin"
There is a messy sketch of a young man dressed in thick, winter wear lying down under a tree on the back. You assume that man is Jongin, and you can't help but chuckle.
Send ☏ for a vague text letter
A note unlike any other appears on your doorstep. You pick it up and read it. The handwriting must be Jongin's, but it was sloppy as if he was in a rush. The note read:
"Go n e fo r a few w eeks. No letter s. So r r y."
Send ⁇ for a worried text letter
"I heard you got into an accident! Are you alright? Are your bones still intact? Are you alive?"
There is a doodle of a worried-looking boy in the margin next to all the questions.
"I stuffed some candy in this envelope in hopes that it'll make you feel happier or something. Remember to keep smiling always! I know you can pull through any obstacle-- you're strong and stubborn (in a good way!!) like that!
Remember that I'm always here if you want or need someone to bother.
I sincerely believe in you,
Your friend Jongin"
Send ♣ for a text letter not meant for you
"Dear Dave,
How's the wife and kids? Nah, I'm kidding you. Anyways, while I'm here in Germany-- what was it that you wanted again? I can't really remember if you said you wanted the cake or the recipe for the cake.
You never cease to confuse me,
Jongin"
Who's this 'Dave' guy, and what's with the postcard?
Send ✘ for a text letter that should never have been sent
You're very confused when you receive a manila envelope instead of the usual small envelope that smells like the sea and dead fish. Inside the large envelope is a drawing of a storm.
The address on the envelope isn't even yours anyways...
Send ✺for a saucy text letter
You can't help but laugh at the pasta sauce stains on the paper as you read the letter.
"I tried to make pasta in my boat! It didn't go to well as the boat kept rocking violently as I moves supplies from here to there. And as you can probably see on this paper, I got some sauce on my papers.
But hey! Now my letters have a new smell to them other than ocean and dead fish (which is what you used to describe it)! I wonder if you're laughing at all the stains on the paper though... seems like something you'd do.
Anyways, I gotta clean up my boat! I'll write to you later.
Best regards,
Jongin"
Send √ for a long winded confessing text letter
"Hey... let's talk serious for a bit. I know, wow. What? Serious Jongin? Is this really Jongin? Well, yes. It really is me. And I am very capable of being serious okay? Like the one time this snobby man thought I wouldn't be able to beat him in a sailboat race. Because I was too childish. Well, let me tell you who won! Me, of course (I really did!).
The weather here today is really nice you know? Cloudless sky and the air is warm enough for me to walk around in without a jacket. Speaking of which-- I finally got me a new jacket! It's warm and doesn't have holes in it. It's truly wonderful! The best part is that it's guaranteed to last me awhile so I can take it with me on all my journeys!
Oh sharks... I rambled. Anyways, the point I wanted to talk about was that... I really like you! Do you get that a lot? I don't see how people can not like you. You're pretty ace. And props to you for dealing with me and my letters and replying to all of them.
You're really cool (you probably already knew that), and maybe we could have a proper meeting. Like, face-to-face. I can bake Miss Lilian's fantastic pound cake if you have a kitchen I can borrow! She taught me how to make it and it's absolutely divine. If we ever meet, I have to make some for you.
I legitimately like you,
Jongin"

"Hey-- it's me again. If it's not too much trouble, I have a favor to ask of you.
If you ever happen to go out into town and maybe to the pier, could you look around for a navy blue knapsack? It seems that I have left it there during my last stay in Korea (which wasn't too long ago-- darn, I could've met up with you and made Miss Lilian's delicious pound cake!).
Thank you so much, and I promise I will pay you back later if you happen to return my knapsack.
When will I see you? -- Jongin"
Send ☼ for a congratulatory text letter
"Congratulations on finally finishing that device you have been telling me about in your letters! I say, from the pictures, it looks pretty awesome. I kind of don't understand what it's potential is, but I'm sure it'll help you with your quest.
I hope you like the drawing I did of what I assumed you look like (congratulations again!!!)!
You know I'll always believe in you,
A true friend named Jongin"
Stapled to the letter is a drawing of you with the machine you had constructed. And you could safely admit that he had pretty good guessing skills, somewhat nailing your appearance. Of course, a few minor details were wrong-- but the kid's never seen you before.

"...I said--" Luhan clears this throat, trying to ignore the other's odd behavior and name. Did he just call him 'comrade'? "-People are watching."
Maybe people would understand and ignore if it was a little kid pulling at the flowers. Children aren't aware of what they do, they'd just get a warning to leave the poor plants alone. No one would look much.
But when you have a grown up digging up a hole in the middle of the park, things get a little weird.
He furrowed his eyebrows a little, tilting his head as he eyed the other's work. What was he even putting there?
"Just- What are you doing?" Luhan decided to ask the question that surely was on everyone's head right now, looking back at the other.
