October 7th was the same date when the Detective Pikachu Returns game got released for the Nintendo Switch. And Meta has a problem with me complaining about Adulting and calling October 7th a “stupid war”. Fuck them for thinking I’m doing spam.

July xix. contentious prompt by @nosebleedclub
With you I cannot win
Everything I say is wrong
Everything I do is a catalyst
For a new outburst of words
I don't want you to mean
But know somewhere
Deep inside me are truer than our love

It wasn’t just a sexist problem the ad industry had in the fifties
For example, “Zoro and Sanji have a competitive and contentious relationship.” 🤜💥🤛

Especially if the person you’re talking to is ill tempered, stubborn or prideful. Those types of people are difficult to reason with, because they’re being driven by emotion and not rationality. It’s the epitome of a tug of war just to see who has most power in the end. So let silence be yours.
“A silent and loving woman is a gift of the Lord; and there is nothing so much worth as a mind well instructed.” - Ecclesiasticus 26:14
“It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.” - Proverbs 21:19
“Some man holdeth his tongue, because he hath not to answer: and some keepeth silence, knowing his time.” - Ecclesiasticus 20:6
When you’re silent, you’re no longer giving that person the fuel to continually charge back at you, and it gives them time to reflect on what they’ve said. Now that person doesn’t have anything to use against you to deflect away from their own faults, because you didn’t allow yourself to speak out of frustration. Going tic for tact with that person will just accumulate strife, and that, only escalates the problem without solving anything. So just chill, and give it some time. If the subject is not important than consider dropping it, and if it is important maybe next time you should try changing your approach. I’ve learned that sometimes when you come from a place of compassion, and understanding that people are more willing to hear you out, and be less defensive.
Raskin tells Lawler to 'get the hell out' during contentious hearing
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! A tense hearing on sanctuary city policies devolved Tuesday into a shouting match between Reps. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., and Jamie Raskin, D-Md., who accused each other of not caring about the deaths of Americans at the hands of illegal immigrants or anti-ICE protesters killed by federal agents. During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on sanctuary…
