This is a picture of a normal diabetic day. When I got to work this morning I noticed around 7am my insulin resivior in my pump was getting low. (Failure to pay attention to alarm, silly me). Since it had been too late and I had already been a little outta range, in a quick fix I just did an old fashioned syringe shot, while trying avoiding going all the way home just for anthither resivior piece. As you can see, I overestimated (see that huge drop?! 😂) I went low around lunch time, and recovered then. By the time I got home my range got a little outta whack again since I was hungry and ate a snacj a few mins before I changed my resivior and corrected + insulin for carbs eaten. But my sensor did a great job of saving longterm insulin for throughout the day. It makes it easy to realize when I'm going out of range even before I do so I can take action to avoid it from getting out of hand. Not my best day; also definitely not my worst. #weallmakemistakes Its kinda rad that I can simply explain what my body is doing in real time as well as have a complete detailed history of my long acting insulin (purple dots aka microbolus) fast acting insulin, set change, trends, carb intakes, AND corrections. With all this information displayed so nicely (as shown in the picture) its easy to decide what changes I need to make if I would need to, although, half the battle of fighting out the changes one needs is no longer much of a battle at all anymore. With the automode feature on the 670g basal rates and long acting insulin are no longer something to stress about. It calculates what micro blouses you would need based on history and current trends. 💉🖥📈 I'm not a spokesperson for this product bt any means, I just know that it has improved my health by more than a full a1c point and that its made managing my weird unmanageable eating habits completely managable.
