This was a little awkward; here he was, huddled by a small fire, covered in layers of blankets, reading a towering pile of books... if that didn't shout weird, he wasn't sure what did.

uhhh this is after reshi already s-supported gaius bc i just love mu x gaius so mu ch and reshi is cute with gaius. no small text or stuff under the cut because…………. no. also, i was going to make a support more angsty but then i decided to go for humor instead.

Inigo: Reshi! Just the tactician I wanted to see!

Reshi: Inigo, I’d hate to break it to you, but I’m the only tactician here… well, besides Morgan. But he’s still training.

Reshi: Anyways, what do you need?

Inigo: Well, I need you, of course.

Reshi: I-Inigo? I’m married. What do you need besides er… me? Oh, can you help me for a spell? Pass me the bar of soap over there, please!

Inigo: I know that, but are you happi-- huh? Bar of soap? I suppose I can help out. Here, catch!

Reshi: Inigo, that’s slippery!

*CRASHING NOISE*

Reshi: Did you slip? Are you okay, Inigo? Should I get a healer?

Inigo: I’m… I’m fine… I just fell flat on my face, that’s all! See! No blood! It’s truly a shame, too. I wouldn’t be opposed to bleeding!

Reshi: Gods, you’re as bad as your father… if not worse.

Inigo: Hey, that’s a good thing! He’s been wondering if I only took after my mother?

Reshi: Well… tell him that you take after the both of them! Come on, we need to go to the medical tent. I suppose Gaius’s laundry can wait.

Inigo: Of course, if that’s what you request, milady!

Reshi: Reshi. Just… Reshi.

Reshi: Alright, I’ll surely get these stains out in no time! It’s perfect, no distractions… no Morgan… no Gaius… no Chrom… no nothing!

Inigo: Hey there, Reshi. Doing the laundry again?

Reshi: Gah! G-Gods, I didn’t anticipate that Inigo would be here…

Inigo: Eh, are you busy? Well, I’m just dawdling around, so… why not I help? My mother told me I’m pretty darn good at doing the laundry!

Reshi: Hm, really now? Then why don’t we assign you to laundry duty from now on? Don’t fret, we’re only doing Gaius’s laundry.

Reshi: Then again… it’s Gaius’s.

Inigo: Pfft, it’s only some mere stains! Presumably from desserts or something.

Inigo: It’s not like… it’s not like he had bloodstains or some dirt on there. He hadn’t gotten injured that much during battle.

Reshi: Inigo…

Reshi: Gah! You’re making me too worried! Just go grab a rock and start scrubbing these stains off! There’s not going to be blood on any of the fabric! Just… cherry juice or something.

Inigo: Haha, I apologize about that. Duly noted, Reshi! You can count on me!

Reshi: Hehe, I’m glad about that. We should really put you on laundry duty more often… wait, Inigo? What are you doing to his cape?

Inigo: This dastard! I knew he was the one who stole the dessert I was saving!

Reshi: You’re scrubbing too hard! Your’e going to rip it!

Inigo: Good! Just like I wanted! Damn that thief!

Reshi: Inigo!

Gaius: … my cape…

Gaius: I guess it’ll just be fixed after a little sewing. It’s okay, Bubbles, don’t cry or anything.

Reshi: No way! Why would I cry? Like you said, it can be easily mended. And what did I say about calling me Bubbles?

Gaius: Muh? Why not? Oh… right, I promised. Well, babe, you’re just as sweet as sugar for washing my clothes.

Gaius: Although… they didn’t need to be cleaned in the first place. I appreciate the sentiment, anyways. What’d you do with this, anyways? Got in a fight and they ripped it?

Reshi: Uh… well, it’s a long story. Inigo actually made that, actually.

Gaius: Inigo? Well, I’ll se you around, Reshi. Got some fixing to do.

*Gaius leaves, Inigo enters*

Inigo: Whoa, you’re not actually doing laundry!

Reshi: Well… not today. Perhaps on the weekend I will, Inigo. If you still want to do it, I’ve spoke to Chrom about letting you do it rather than other chores.

Inigo: Whew, that’s a relief. I did not want to be on cooking duty with Owain at all! He was going to probably end up burning the food because his sword hand twitched!

Reshi: Ah, so you’re saying that you won’t be blamed for a horrible dinner, aren’t you?

Inigo: …

Inigo: You can say that.

Inigo: Anyways, I just saw that damn sweets thief… I see that he saw what I did. Heheh…

Reshi: Inigo, are you honestly that angry at him?

Inigo: Well, duh! It was like, the most heavenly piece of cake ever! And he just ate it! Like, seriously?

Reshi: Well, we can always go out to town and get you a new one. Or Gaius can even make you a cake in compensation. I’ll make him do so!

Inigo: No way! It wouldn’t be the same!

Reshi: Huh? Why is that?

Inigo: Because then… my mother didn’t make it. I was totally reserving that for later!

Reshi: Wait, you called it heavenly… but you didn’t even try it?

Inigo: My mother made it, so it’s automatically heavenly! The Gods themselves would surely praise them!

Reshi: I’m not too sure about that…

      Ever since Emmeryn was rescued from the small village she had fell into, Emmeryn was in a daze. Hours were spent staring at something, or lost in thoughts. It wasn't because her memory was getting worse. She merely longed to make it better.

       She sometimes she'd try to start a conversation with Reshi -- she was friends with her siblings, and maybe she had memories of Reshi too, locked up deep within herself.

        One night, when the air was so cold you could see your breath, Emmeryn gathered her strength and energy, walking into Reshi's tent. She woman smiled at the other, a look of happiness on her face.

         ❝  H-Hello... Reshi... Do you mind... if I sit...? ❞ The trip to her tent made her knees uneasy. Maybe it was the weather that did this to her, but at the same time, the past exalt didn't want to seem rude or intruding.
