He'd say it was deja vu -- only he and Samantha were well through college, and had secured a down payment on a home...and he'd put a ring on it... Bastian clears his throat and takes a deep breath before he simply nods and shoots a more pointed expression Nate's way. "You must need a beer. C'mon let's head to my office." he insists, grabbing up a couple bottled beverages from the fridge and motioning towards the hallway.

this might be kinda weird but i like that your threads are long as fuck. we haven't written much yet, but it really shows how much you care about developing nate beyond what the source material gave us. takes a badass to take a character as widely disliked as nate and write him anyway. (you do a fucking amazing job btw)
