does you have any advice on interesting/funny topics to bring up in conversation? I am in high school, so maybe not super duper deep stuff

ooo yess i would just talk about lessons you have in common, the teachers & ur opinions on them, etc. a great way to start a conversation is by finding something you guys have in common (and if its in school, classes and subjects are a great start!) and start chatting and joking and sharing ur opinions on that! then you can ask them about their hobbies, what books they're reading, sports they play, what their plans are this weekend, etc.

remember to be respectful to their beliefs and opinions & have an open mind to them and share ur own beliefs and opinions in a joke-y or even sarcastic way

I'm a sixteen year old reform Jewish girl, and the most religious person in my family. Lately I've been reading about girls and women wearing Tichels as a symbol of religion and culture, and not just for Orthodox married women. I'm really interested in doing this, especially on the most holy days or when I'm at synagogue. I was wondering if anyone has any advice about this or about how to talk to my family?

I'm a Jew living in a typical Xtian American home. My family doesn't know I'm Jewish (grew up Xtian) and I've been regretting being Jewish even though I know what's best for me. I can't risk telling them I'm not Xtian, and I'm trying to be the person I should be but it's making me miss everything I grew up with supposedly believing. Do you have any advice or something else positive to say?

No body should have to go through an imbalance of conversational giving a fuck-ness

If you feel bad because of a precived un investment from ur conversation partner. U have the right to avoid feeling bad.

Everyone should talk transparently and avoid petty pride saving shite still. It'd save you a lot of time to differentiate from petty response withholding (from your side) and not talking to a person who doesn't care about you as much as you do them. If that makes sense.

I need advice/suggestions

Okay I'm so awkward when I'm the phone with my boyfrennn. Like I'm over here being childish just asking random questions, and he answers them. I feel like I'm bad at holding conversations, I guess my question is how do I get better at talking on the phone? Or what are some conversation topics or starters?
