Probably something no one cares about but I'm gonna talk about anyway. I've been into Skyrim since early 2013 and I always used UNP based bodies. UUNP was a real life saver, but if you've been there for it, you'd know how bad and lazy a lot of UUNP conversions were. Very little manual adjusting was done and there were no unibody conversion references, so a lot of conversions just looked bad. I had managed to stumble my way through Outfit Studio, learning just enough to fix stuff for myself.
I have a lot of old UNP textures I still use and love so I've stuck with BHUNP. I experimented with 3BA when I switched to SE in...2022, I think? I was late to switch, but basically when I realized ENB was no longer getting updates for LE and I was spending more time converting mods than playing, I decided to switch. I was already in the BHUNP ecosystem, so other than briefly switching Minori to 3BA, I pretty much stayed committed.
I started making my own conversions roughly a year ago and learned from Sunjeong's videos and Ciraeyna's video the basics of Outfit Studio and the guys at the Cult of BHUNP Discord server have been helping me learn more. I strive for good looking conversions on a wide variety of shapes. I still struggle with weighting, but I'd like to think I'm doing better with that.
Anyway, the picture is a preview of something that I'll chug away at for the next month or two. Even if I'm not allowed to publicly post it (I haven't asked and won't until it's done), Kozakowy's Mythic Dawn Priestess is an outfit I've always wanted converted and I attempted it twice before I actually knew what I was doing. I gave up both previous attempts because I couldn't get it to look right, but I think now I've got the knowledge to do it. Even if it remains only on my disk drive, I'll just be happy to have it nicely converted.
Things would a lot easier if I switched to 3BA or UBE but I just don't like 'em.
The arm thingys look warped in the preview but I can assure you they aren't.
