I have never seen such a beautifully decorated store-to-home conversion. This 1913 building in Mineola, TX, was originally built by the local Masonic Lodge - They had their meetings upstairs and rented out the store. The storekeeper also opened a post office inside. 3bds, 3ba, 4,564sqft, $349,900.
You can't see it in this photo, but there's a little garden fence around this patio in front of the store, to indicate that it's private property.
They've got a pretty dining set and desk in front of the space. A beautiful chandelier is suspended from the opening in the ceiling.
Next to the dining area, there's an elegant French Provincial living room with a fireplace.
A case opening frames an adorable little vintage store display and antique collection.
They put up some dividing walls and decorated them with antiques.
Through this door there's a cute little bedroom.
And in here, there's a very pretty bedroom.
A nice half bath.
Original stairs to the Mason Lodge.
Up here there's a big kitchen and the island looks like the old store counter.
Antiques and vintage furniture divide the space.
Here's the living room area.
Looking down at the main floor.
Lovely vintage primary bedroom.
Nice large bath.
Private covered patio in the back of the home.
There's potential for a large fenced yard on the 0.4 acre lot.
It says "City Jail," but the 1925 building is actually a former store turned into a loft style home in Lakemont, GA. The 1bd, 2ba, 1,800sqft home is zoned for also being used as an Airbnb, if the new owner wants to rent it out. Listed at $720k, it's a bit pricey.
Notice the sign on the door- "Private Home Y'all." Maybe people think it's a tourist attraction?
Anyway, the doors are pretty cool.
The listing says nothing about coming furnished, which was a disappointment.
Love the chippy brick walls. It's quite spacious for the amount of square footage.
They do have a lot of cool pieces in here.
Look at the retro fireplace- it's got a modern flame. I've never seen one like that. It must come with the house.
Large kitchen. I love the fridge and cabinetry.
The red stove is a wonderful modern replica of an antique.
Beautiful spacious bath. This conversion is so well done. Where did they find all of the wonderful vintage stuff, like the sink and cabinet.
Washer/dryer closet.
Down the stairs is where the bedroom is. I wonder what you could use this big room for.
The primary bedroom has an adult size bed with a loft. If they rented it out as an Airbnb, that would accommodate more guests.
There's a nice shower room down here.
Why is it listed as 1 bedroom? This is a 2nd bd.
And, this is a 3rd. Actually, it's so big, it looks like the primary.
There are small outdoor areas and gardens along the sides of the house.
It looks like this was a lovely block of stores with apartments or offices above, but now the 1908 building in Portland, OR has been converted to condos. This 3bd, 2.5ba unit is priced at $1.095M.
The main floor is open concept and consists of a living room and kitchen. There's a nice fireplace, and nothing particularly interesting, but the wood ceiling above is a nice feature.
In the middle there's room for a dining area.
And, lastly, there's a very roomy kitchen. The kitchen's quite nice and modern, has granite counters and flat-front light wood cabinets. A counter for casual dining has a wood top.
Outside the kitchen is a nice patio.
There's a basic half bath on the main level.
That's some long staircase. Not counting the landing, I counted over 20 stairs.
The primary bedroom is fairly large and has 2 closets that are sort of walk-in.
The bath is a large 3 pc. and nicely done.
They say it's 3 bds., but this smaller room has no windows, so it's set up as a home office.
The 3rd bd. has an exposed brick wall that adds some interest.
But, I don't like how they put up the wall to cut the window off.
The bath also has an exposed brick wall and it's very nice.
In the hall at the top of the stairs there's a closet with the laundry units inside.
In the front, each unit has a railing to designate their covered front deck space.
View of the lovely street.
Behind the units, there's a place to park several cars.
The former Harps Grocery Store, built in 1890, in the lovely town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas has been converted to a cute, unique home. 1bd., 1.5ba, $735K.
The front of the store is one huge open space with a massive book shelf wall. This room consists of double-sided sofa, probably for reading, and a sleep space in back. It has an industrial loft vibe. This room has potential.
This sleeping area has access to the bathroom.
This is nice.
Behind the large storefront is the living quarters. Isn't this cute?
Kitchen island creatively made from a vintage sideboard.
An adorable country kitchen is tucked into an alcove. I love it, but for $735K, I would really expect a dishwasher, and since I've been known to set off the smoke detectors, I would really need an exhaust hood over the stove.
There's room for a nice sized table, and in back is another sleep space.
There's another sink back here, probably for doing dishes b/c it's next to the table.
In the bedroom area are stairs to the 2nd fl.
I don't know why the description says 1 bedroom, b/c this is actually the 3rd one I've seen. I guess it's because they don't have closets. This one, however, has a door to the porch out front.
This must be the only one they count b/c it has a closet.
Lovely front porch on the 2nd floor.
I didn't expect this- there's a nice porch on the back of home, too. I would put up a little picket fence to make a small yard.
This is such an interesting property. It's an 1889 building in Sedalia, Missouri. It has 3bds, 3.5ba, plus a successful crafts store and a short term VRBO rental on the top floor, in addition to the family living quarters. $499K.
Beginning with the residence, it's fully renovated, but all the original features are intact. It's a beautiful, spacious industrial loft style space.
Cozy living room area. As much I love this place, it would concern me- the owners have so much stuff. And, how many holes did they put in the walls?
The kitchen's lovely, especially the countertops and pretty cabinets with red accents.
Nice laundry room. I like the red w/d.
I don't know if this is the VRBO rental or part of the owner's quarters, b/c it looks like it matches the 1st fl.
And, this looks like it could be the primary bedroom and bath.
I think it's the primary suite.
Then, this is a secondary bedroom.
This bed & bath looks like it's the VRBO rental on the upper floor.
And, look at the craft shop that rents the store part. This is so cool, it has a work table and a pink kitchen.
If I owned this house, I would be in this store all the time.
Looks like they have any craft or art you're into.
There's even a stage, they must do shows. This is cool.
This is the back of the building. There's no yard, but Sedalia has lots of parks.
This 8000 square feet Single Family home has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is located at 304 W Main St, Sedalia, MO.
How adorable is this? It’s a little former store, built in 1926, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Apparently, it’s operating as a successful Airbnb, and it’s for sale for $305K. Of course, the buyer could also live in it.
The front room is a combination living/dining room
Love the Flamingo paper and pastel decor.
There’s a nice big modern kitchen.
Half bath with laundry.
And, 2 nice bedrooms.
This one has a big closet.
The full bath has pretty pink tile.
And, at the back is a sun room that opens to the yard.
There’s a nice roomy shed and the cement slab would make a nice patio.
