If your friends are even in that position to do so, BECAUSE it’s to YOUR benefit? Then YOU are the one that needs to be unfriended. Also, if you feel any way because this convicted you?

Good, I hoped that it would offend you.

It amazes me how we want consistency in and from others, but will put those very people or even ALLOW those people to be in a position where they have OUR CONSENT to be disingenuous towards others and have the thought process that they will always “keep it real” with us, because it’s “us”.

Some things should just be common sense.

I wonder if you're just as quick to post a "God is so good" status, when He tells you to give up the very thing you told Him NOT to take away.. 🤔

Don't act like that's not you.. 😒

We'll have a whole list of things that we don't mind giving up, because we've been hurt too long by it and/or we're sick of it:

(like pain / being heart broken / depression),

but all the while, still hold on to a couple things that He wants the MOST and we'll find illegitimate excuses for why they aren't as bad as we know they are to us and for us..

NOPE! ❌

It's those VERY things that you try to hide from Him, is what He wants you to be just as willing to give up. It's that lustful attraction that keeps you broken mentally and psychologically.

It's that addiction that you are being in denial of, like you don't think it won't kill you.

It's that pride that'll leave you weary and can ultimately have you faint and defenseless..

What you continue to CRAVE, is what God wants to SAVE you from! 🙏🏾

If you are single and waiting..

I have the utmost respect for each and every person who's able to point out their flaws and acknowledge that they AREN'T perfect; it releases the pressure of always looking for someone who is..

B U T,

Some of us will be single just a while longer, simply because we neglect our own imperfections and flaws (which could be red flags), when inviting someone in our world, believing we’re ready for a relationship...

We forget,

that the flags others can see about us?

WE know about, just as much:

-That quick temper?

You aren’t naive of it.

You love telling people off, low key..

-Not always following through on your word?

Yeah, you know you could do better put you’d rather continue to promise that you’re gonna make it up when you don’t really plan too..

-knowing money flies out of pocket, but want someone who is in a certain tax bracket?

Who do you think you are?

Yet somehow we want others to give us so much Grace and say, “I’m a work in progress”, yet when others have a flag or two, you run away as if their a devil.. we don’t play fair sometimes, and it’s ABOUT TIME that we address it.

Cutting Heart Strings

Relationships, can be a game of tug of war, once the two of you are no longer mutually working together to WIN, in this world called life..

When you begin to wrestle with each other, rather than to win with each other? You are not supposed to allow yourself to nearly die fighting in a relationship, so don’t make the next person fight, trying to keep you alive..

It’s not fair for either of you, and better yet, you were never supposed to fight so hard that you over exert your time and your energy.

NEVER give someone you love, your life if all they are doing is crucifying you.

Some of us don’t know how to let go, then make declarations that you’re tired of being hurt when partial reasoning of the pain was self afflicted. The initial pain that one may cause is on them, but the decision to keep trying to resuscitate a dead horse after so long is the decision you’ve decision to make, knowing the possibility of the results..

You’ve been through or have witnessed enough relationships and/or friendships to get a sense when what once was built with the intent to last, comes crumbling down.

The moment you notice you’re the only one trying to build the house back together is when you release those bricks. YES it is hard, and harder for few but learn NOT to ignore the signs! No relationship dies a natural death, and

Love does NOT equate happiness or healthiness..
