We’re watching a horror movie together
I got a lovely new black mouse named Pepper! Her previous owner wanted to rehome her since her cagemate passed away, and she wanted to give her to someone else who had mice, since the females need to live in groups. And she’s the one who gave me Lucia, the black and white one, so she knew I took good care of them!
The mice having a millet party, and what was left!
Cookie, Custard, and their sooty Siamese snoots (and Custard’s little bald patch from someone over grooming her, I suspect Lucia), the mice on a blanket watching TV with me, Bean in my hand, and Bean getting along with Lucia!
too tired tonight for anything so I just watched TV with the mice
Last photos of Pudding, plus the other girls in the way to the vet
MICE
Lucia with Cookie, Custard, and Pudding! Lucia still really hates being around them, she squeaks a lot and tries to get away, and Custard has a mark on her forehead from where Lucia bit her in the cage last night…BUT by the end of this 15 minute session Lucia was chilling with them, or trying to. She kept squeaking if they touched her instead of vice versa though. I think she wants to be friends but also she’s just traumatized and needs little sessions like this to get comfy around other mice again after having been violently rejected twice over. The other girls are very chill and don’t react to her at all, which will make it easier.
