Indulge in the delicious combination of chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge with this easy-to-make recipe. The rich and creamy fudge is layered with chunks of cookie dough, creating a mouthwatering treat that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup mini chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the bowl and mix until well combined. Stir in the mini chocolate chips. Press half of the cookie dough mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the mixture is melted and smooth. Remove the melted chocolate mixture from the microwave and stir in the remaining 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cookie dough layer in the baking dish. Crumble the remaining cookie dough mixture over the top of the fudge layer. Cover the baking dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm. Once the fudge has set, lift it out of the dish using the parchment paper or foil overhang. Cut the fudge into squares and enjoy!
