You thought I was going to catch it, didn't you? If you did, READ THIS: Life during quarantine has offered us so many lessons from non other than the simplest of things. They are summarized with this video: Taking more than a moment of calm to notice the things we are surrounded by. Not to be all peaceful and blissful and shit (although that is super awesome too), just to see what were really surrounded by, and a part of. It's pretty pandemic in its own right. What we are surrounded by is UNCERTAINTY. The funny thing is that we've been surrounded by it this whole time, it's just that we were masking it up by routines and "certainty" in our lives. Learning to be okay with enjoying some of the less thrilling things in life. Events are cancelled, malls are shut down, summer is cancelled. No it bloody isn't! It just looks different but know that the sun will still shine, heat will still radiate down onto the streets and #CAVABIENALLER. Cookies represent moments. If you feel lonely, if you feel bored, if you feel frustrated, if you feel trapped, if you feel angry, if you feel calm, if you feel positive, if you feel amplified, if you feel hungry, know that the next feeling is just a cookie away. Nothing at all is permanent and nothing is 💯. The quicker you start to enjoy that, the quicker you start winning. So let's #CookieOnCanada. I am very excited to announce that your generous donations are going to a place very near to my heart: Lethbridge, Alberta. Although the city of Lethbridge may not be an epicenter or the most "at-risk in Canada, it's a place where many senior citizens live, including my grandparents . As if seniors didn't have enough to pay attention to with regards to their health, now they have a pandemic. I think we all have someone or know someone who fits into the "senior" category. Heck, maybe some of you reading this are in that category. 👴🏼👴🏿👵🏾👵 My grandparents are and they are a set of tough set of cookies and they keep me in awe with their constant perseverance through adversity. As my grandparents have lived their whole life in the city of Lethbridge, I'd like to celebrate this place and bring to your attention somewhere that you may have not known existed before. This is also a shout out to each and every senior that you have in your life. I think they deserve the upmost respect for managing themselves through a time of big struggle for all human race. Bless each and everyone that you know. The first donation of this #CookieOnCanada project will go to the Community Foundation of Lethbridge & Southwestern Alberta. This organization is the main support group for a large region of the province of Alberta. I think it's important to remember not only to support local by way of your city, but local, by way of your country (remember we're one big community in this together).
