I still say I prefer to have everything underneath the racks when I can, it helps make everything seem less cluttered, but sometimes like this you just have to make an exception.

I meant to post this last week but I never got around to it. The video pretty much sums it up but basically the vendors all dropped off their product and although they all left it where I wanted them to, I didn't realize how much I had ordered until I saw it all in the cooler 😂
This was the video I sent my manager the day I got the cooler first set up with the product we had before the remodel, which is also before we got any deliveries.
The totes I was referring to? She had asked me to empty at least 1 of the 4 we still had to empty, so me knocking all of them out was a nice little surprise for her.
It's so weird for me to see how empty it used to be compared to how it is now 😂
I'm about to post the after pics for you guys, but I just wanted to let you have this little bonus bit as well.
Take care and be safe out there 💚
I posted this right behind the before post but for some reason it never posted? Or even saved in drafts/queue? Anyway, here are the after pics and vid.
Fun fact: The video goes on a couple extra seconds on accident because my phone couldn't read my finger through my gloves 😂
Also, that rickety ass little ladder in the pics is NOT the ladder you use the top step on, but unfortunately the cooler is a top step of the ladder cooler. I ended up grabbing the tall ladder we use outside and bringing it into the cooler so I can handle all the top shelf stuff.
I'm going to go ahead and rest now that I'm done for tge night. I'm off today so I'll probably end up posting some more, if not the rest of, the remodel pics.
Stay safe out there and take care 💚
I have an after video as well as after pics already done and waiting to be posted. I apologize for getting a little irked near the end of the video, but my manager and I have been butting heads n how the deliveries should be handled.
Since I'm the only one that goes in there (not exaggerating) I've told all delivery drivers to just set their stuff down (neatly) in front of their areas, as well as having the note I mentioned in the video. It's easier for me to come in, stock with my current products, and then move the new product onto the shelf where it goes.
She keeps telling them to go ahead and stock, but all of the delivery drivers do what United and Red Bull did. They stack shit wherever is "convenient" to them, and sometimes open the brand new product when I already have some current in rotation, then leave those partially open cases supporting full cases, and just overall leave a mess. When she allows this to happen I have to come in, move the mess that was made, stock, move new product back to their cases while I do that, and then I can put up the new stuff. She's causing extra work for me.
The frustrating part is when she found out how I had them handling their deliveries, and she told me I should make them stock I told her flat out why I wanted them to just drop their merch and go. She follows up with, "Just make sure they're doing it right and you'll be fine." Then turns around and lets the drivers do whatever they want.
I've been managing the cooler since the remodel was finished, I'm (again) literally the only one who works in there, and I have managed to keep it clean/stocked/organized the last 3 months by now. Over the last week and a half she's been ignoring my wishes and causing me extra work and I just do not appreciate it.
If you're still here dealing with me, thank you, I needed to get this all out. I'm going to go ahead and get the after pics up.
