An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Ben discovers that his study partner doesn’t have food at home - she’s scavenging food from garbage cans and discarded trays when she thinks no one is looking. He takes it upon himself to feed her, trying to ignore his growing feelings for her every time her lips close around a fork, or she lets out those soft little moans of contentment when she eats something she really likes. Along the way, he discovers a passion for making food that he’d never known existed. What happens when she finds out what he’s been doing? Will she forgive him? Or will he lose her forever?
