I recently attended the @centrifugetraining RDS Instructor class, taught by @danno1812 . That 2 day class was my first appreciable time behind a red dot pistol system, and I was definitely on the struggle bus for my time there. I'll talk about that more in my AAR. I have a lot of mechanical flaws and cheats, and the red dot definitely showed I have a lazy neutral grip and inconsistent presentation. Upon Dan's recommendation, I just bought a @mantis_tech X10 to properly diagnose exactly what's going on with me. Hmmm. Data. Weird. @temple_indexing_mofo covers some basic, yet crucial points regarding the use of weapon mounted lights in the live-fire portion of a 4 day Low Light Instructor class. We've known since 1994 that most officer-involved shootings occur in low/no-light encounters. Latest stats put it around 68%, in fact. Since that holds true, why does your department not have a low light program?
